Is pangong lake open to visit in october
Yes, it's open for visits in 1st half of October. Later most of the passes gets closed due to snow.
May 2nd half to October 1st half is the best time to visit.

Ladakh have most beautiful lakes in the world. Pangong is most famous however Tso Moriri and Tso Kar are also very beautiful. Plus there are several hidden lakes which are not named in as a tourist destination like Tso Kyagar
Yes I agree. Pangong is more commercial. I have visited the other beautiful lakes as well while riding through Spangmic, Chushul, Hanle, Nyoma, Chumthang. Tso Kyagar is like s small pond, however it looks beautiful during sunsets. Tso Moriri has its own charm and Tso Kar is very mysterious yet beautiful.
