There’s a missing feature on this version, in the recent tab of the phone app, now we no longer have the call button in the recent numbers, it reverted back to how it used to be in iOS 17 that means you can accidentally call someone by tapping on their number in the list :/
@@beebeedeeie I would suggest that it was to provide a more consistent user experience between the behaviour of list items in "Favourites" and "Recent". Both these lists look fairly similar, so I guess they want a similar call experience between the two. Occasionally if I'm in a hurry I don't appreciate which list I'm actually in at first glance, without looking down at the icons along the bottom, particularly since my Recent list is usually occupied by Favourites anyway. I'm going to guess that they had enough feedback from beta users saying that they didn't like the new inconsistency between these two lists. I'm not saying either way is better, but I'm a fan of UI consistency. If they were going to keep the Recents list with the "new" behaviour you like, they should have done it for the Favourites list too IMHO.

Recent calls have changed. I think it was better in previous betas. Now in beta 6 if we touch a contact it calls it directly, so there may be accidental calls. In previous betas, it showed you the contact when you tap. And to call you had to press the button

Nah cause that ios 18 beta 5 felt like ages when my recent emojis were messed up and i was praying everyday for him to drop the next beta video 😭 I practically stalked my "software update" section, begging for the new beta. The moment I saw it, I went to watch what was new and waited just to see if emojis were fixed 😂😂

18.1 betas will be available for all devices once 18.0 is released. 18.1 right now is just 18.0 but with Apple Intelligence and redesigned emoji section.
The beta 6 is the most stable on iOS 18 Beta 2 is the update to beta 6 but is less stable If you want to upgrade I would go with beta 6 because beta 2 is still “developing”.

iOS 18 beta 4 is running so good for me on my phone . Battery is good and my multi task screen is smooth again . I ran UA-cam in the background all day at work (8 hours) and only drained about 20
if you are writing in apps like whatsapp, when you put some kind of measure like ml, it will get you automatically how much teaspoons is equivalent to that measure. For example, you just need to type 200ml = 40,577 tsp i’ve just had to type until it got to the = and it has completed automatically

video scrubbing in ios18 feels worse than ios17 or older, i kinda like the preview that we had in the bar at the bottom, it gives a little bit more visual info the new one kinda feels a bit... bland imo

It was intuitive and easy to scrub unlike this one where tapping it is a challenge in of itself. Speakig of which, i think the UI overall in the photos app has gotten a bit too small for fat finger and small phones. I feel like I'm missing more taps than before.

This is some good apple update news. I was thinking about what if a time management app can help you know, if a specific task can be done in a unplanned or unscheduled time. For instance, you have a schedule in two hours but you are wondering if you can cook something before the two hours reach. And it will be even more kool, if the time management app can give a specific food that will be cook fast enough before the original two hours schedule reaches. This will help people add unplanned tasks to their daily schedule or can help you know if you can add an unplanned task into a planned schedule. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾 That feature will be kool.

Phone recents layout has also changed. It was different in previous beta versions but not it is same as iOS 17.
