Thanks for giving an embodied representation of the hexagrams! After your explanation of yin lines being ‘soft’ and how that depicts ‘pressure’ it was so clear! Really adds a new dimension to my understanding to be able to relate the hexagram as an actual image to the concept/state it stands for. I’m now thinking about how the nuclear hexagram of the future hexagram IS the present hexagram. This is wild… please remind me is it generally useful to look at the nuclear hexagram of the present hexagram? (Obviously in this case they are the same)
Thank you so much James! So delighted that it helps. It IS wild right? Plus the nuclear of 1 is 1, hence its full throttle intensity. Using the nuclear hexagram of the present is very valuable, and you would use it very much in a more detailed interpretation, hence I do so when we do the tutorials. It shows us the heart of what is going on, sometimes it's the deeper story playing out. 😀
@@IChingCafe I’m very much feeling the changing lines this week. I have a lot sitting on my shoulders, and plenty of ideas are within reach but something certainly feels dormant which I’m just observing and not forcing (changing line 1) How would you begin to reconcile this necessity for patience with the pressure and emphasis on the creative?
That is a great question! I have felt the same this week. How I have worked with it is to just acknowledge the creative process unfolding and focus my attention on the structures I can shore up and strengthen to support that creative flow, hence dealing with Hex 28. That creative flow then has stability to flow into when it has matured, and has not been overdone as per line 6. I hope that helps? 🙏
Thank you so much for the insightful lecture for the week, my heart goes out to you...!!!
Only a pleasure Carlos! Thank you so much, and same to you. 🙏
Hahaha the most melodramatic thumbnail of yours. Very effective . Thanks for leading us through thick and thin
Ha ha I know right!? 😀😀Wishing you a wonderful dragon-infused week! 🐉

@@IChingCafe yep that makes sense! I’ve been taking this approach also but always helps to affirm with another.
