Have to give this to born though his footwork's no where near what it used to be. But in this one he rocked hard on beats and had fresher stuff than the other guy's sick footwork. Remember kids! Creativity is key!
i'm too lazy to see if the songs are posted already sorry. both songs are loop and speeded up i think. first: ZZ Top - It's Only Love second: King Errisson - Well, Have a Nice Day
dam i been lookin for the first song ever since i saw this vid. funny thing yesterday i was sessionin with a friend and his bboy mix cd had this song in it. i dont know the name of it but if u guys want i can upload it onto youtube
yeah i have that dvd i can see what your saying i dont know man i just think he lost some speed, but picked up a lot more flavor, flavor in the sense that hes doing things no one has seen before. for example in this battle i haven't seen him do anything ive seen him done before and in ibe 2008 he his throwdowns were still pretty fresh
I think Baviron did a lil bit of too much standing up while transitioning to each section of his footwork in that last set. But he's hella dope and i didn't know about him but i'm all over his videos now.
what do you mean borns footwork is nowhere what it used to be? just curious a lot of people say born is getting weaker, but i personally think hes growing as a bboy
dope battle and dude, born was on beat so saying his footwork was 'slow' is a stupid thing to say -_- I hate it when people think fast footwork is the best footwork, same thing for power
@Ruan073091 he was doing footwork, clean footwork at that, i think the reason why people felt that baviron should have won is cuz he had overall more flavor than born. dont get me wrong im not trying to take anything away from born, but baviron's sets were both consistent while born's second set sorta lacked and looked a little sloppy at one point. the clean spins that he was doing flowed with his first set, which made the set more complete, a footwork can have tops in it and still be good
well, he has clean tops, so what. i understand that it is a footwork competition but having good tops shouldnt change the judges minds really. even back to the footwork, it felt that baviron had an overall more steady sense of musicality and flow to his dance during both of his sets.
Well, if you were to compare his footwork in this vid to the footwork he did back in 06/07 like in the Armory Cup battles, especially during the one where Rivers went up against Jinjo, the difference should be pretty obvious. There's just something that just doesn't seem to be there anymore. And back then he used to be kind of the Korean bboy Machine in the sense that his throw downs were fresh and rarely repeated. You can see him doing the same set in about 3 out of 5 vids nowadays.
@LawkSam Powermoves are meant to be executed as many times per count possible in regards to power battles, js. But yeah I agree: fast footwork isn't always the best footwork.
this video never gets old!!
I like how everyone misspelled his name in the comments just because thats how he is spelled in the video description, its Babylon, not Baviron.
I love this....battle of the legends, a battle where you have no idea who has won, cos it was so tight.
so much respect from each other. that's beautiful man! that's what breaking is about, respect.
Real bboying. No power needed. Although I can do power. This is straight up bboying!
Have to give this to born though his footwork's no where near what it used to be. But in this one he rocked hard on beats and had fresher stuff than the other guy's sick footwork. Remember kids! Creativity is key!
Born first round.......dam

the second song is King Errison - Well, Have a Nice Day
both sick XD i wish i got their flow
yeah but this specific mix is LUDI-Hopping Guitar
both are dope
dope battle and dude, born was on beat so saying his footwork was 'slow' is a stupid thing to say -_-
I hate it when people think fast footwork is the best footwork, same thing for power
Cool battle. I thought Baviron won. He had a better form, clean, and his funkiness definitely showed throw out the round, with his head movements...
@Ruan073091

Born vs Babylon!
very nice and close battle. if baviron did more on his 2nd set he prob woulda won. but off of what this clip shows, born won. but it was very close
both are floor gangz
This was such a close match, too bad redfoot wasnt here =(
wats the first song?
first song?
BOTH bboys are awesome!!
I think born won cause he was more on beat?

ya...i thought so...thats why born win. :)
It seems like Baviron has a lot of groupies, hahaha.
does born ever ran out of move to show.
lol the anouncin of the winner was funny
I like baviron's style
@LawkSam Powermoves are meant to be executed as many times per count possible in regards to power battles, js. But yeah I agree: fast footwork isn't always the best footwork.
everything looks cooler when asians dressed as black people are doing it :D
round by round
first round BABYLON not baviron
second born
hah
but i do agree that i think babylon (baviron) took it
lol comment of the year
IT'S BABYLON
ideas ideas.
the guy who is siting left is wearing a mask (for doctors) always the same with those people XD
ITS BABYLON! @wayofki change it so ppl stop murdering his name ffs..
wowows
are you kidding, born took this easy.
born kill beat
when it comes to footwork, to me technicality is not as essential as letting the music flow through you. That's why we're dancing isn't it?
to be honest the right won in my opinion....
fuck power its good and flashi but style remains supreme
i don't think born take this .
nope.
@mrbboypaul
well than your obviously not a bboy
@LawkSam
amen to that bro
@Ruan073091 lol hater...
