Codfish vs Zekka is another cool one. I think you got caught on loopstation before Kickback, GBB, and BBU started so there’s a lot of solo battles you have seen.
Napom all day everyday, baby! D-low was good too. He improved so much since this battle, but still, Napom #1 for me always. This battle was during that string of years where Napom was in his prime winning every battle. Where he was SO GOOD! He’s still SO GOOD, but now he’s experimenting with other sounds and styles and other new crazy beatboxers are coming up on the scene and now Napom is only winning about 50% of the competitions. I’ll still give it to Napom every time, though. Btw, the reason Napom won this battle was he was cleaner. He’s my favorite because he’s got the winning formula of that perfect balance of heavy bass, technicality and musicality. That’s what makes a winner. When you can combine all three perfectly and keep it dirty and clean at the same time with no mistakes whatsoever. But mainly Napom’s style I like the most. I’m much more of a heavy bass guy than a tech guy, but I recognize the importance in both, so that’s why Napom’s style is my favorite. D-low has that perfect balance now too. Even though today I’d still pick Napom I would love to see him battle D-low again just to see at this level who the judges would pick. Curious to see if this time D-low can win over the judges over Napom or if Napom still got it.
K-Pom vs Kotcha is another great match up on the Tag Team side of things. Napom an DLow both are just plain naaaasty. I also really dug the Mad Twinz vs Kpom as well. Shit I haven't found one that I haven't liked so far.

To be honest D-Lows second round was actually the worst of the battle. It was a rushed mess because he was under pressure after NaPoms first round. Still crazy beats but too many and no structure
