This so describes their relationship - always dancing around one another, both having a complete understanding of the other, and in the end they're both equals.
its awesome how they dont wanna embarass the other in front of their friends. its like a love/hate relationship in the beggining. and after 4 seasons its all love
This is the scene that first got me interested in poker and it really holds up and fits the characters perfectly. Becket 3 bets pre-flop with ace king suited (one of the strongest hands in the game) which is textbook poker. Castle then calls with Seven duce offsuite (the absolute worst hand in the game) which is an absolutely crazy play (that hand should always be folded) and gets absurdly lucky by hitting a full house on the flop. Whoever wrote this clearly had a good knowledge of both poker as their playing styles make complete sense for their personalities (Castle being wild, reckless and crazy while becket plays like a pro).
This is one of the best poker scenes. The one i prefer is from Shark S1E2, when Stark (James Woods) uses the poker game to get a new office for himself and his team.
@@annacarolinafarias4491 Season 1, episode 18 ("The One With All The Poker"). Ross lets Rachel win after she's gotten a rejection from the job she applied for.
emmycasa “Mano y Mano” means “Hand to Hand”.Castle thought it meant “Man to Man”. Both english phrases mean about the same thing. When he said, “Mano y Mujer” he thought it meant “Man to Woman” but it actually meant “Hand to Woman”

Really wish they had had more of these poker scenes in later seasons
Beckett's smile after Martha says "Even when you lose, you win"
Beckett remembered that for 6x21 😏
He choose to lose to not embarrass her in front of her friends... they're so cute and adorable ❤

B " I'm gonna make you hurt"
C "You're gonna get hurt"
They're so funny xD
They are soo cute 🥰
Thanks for posting this. The poker games are always so great!
B: what you got up your sleeve?
C: besides my muscular arm.
that castle, what a smooth operator.
Ah yes, nothing beats the popular card game...Pocker.
i miss the first seasons- it used to be funnier and more easy-going....
I can agree but them not being together for 4 seasons is not what made it better
thank you for posting this! :)
"I'm gonna smoke you!" as mr. Jane used to say. :)
The way he glares at his mother
They are SO MARRIED
Pride, clothing, or gummi bears... LOL
This is one of the best poker scenes.

"aside from my muscular arms?" ;)
Guys, there's no mistake. Pocker can refer to a nickname for the devil. As in handsome Devil. As in Castle. So the title holds
pocker?
I would like to point out pocket 7s would be the nuts
@McKaylaBug1 Castle said, "Mano a mujer." Which means means hand to woman in Spanish.
I'm spanish and I didn't heard mano a mujer, I understood "Mano eimuher" xD
it's poker, not pocker ...
I don't know the first thing about poker. Did he have a winning hand but fold anyway? Is this like the scene in Friends where Ross let Rachel win?
EDIT: Never mind, the elevator scene explained it all.
when is that scene with rachel and ross?

Homer Simp-son is in this
so who won?
Heh, Judge Homer Simpson
pocker?? are you serious?!
LOOL I'm half spanish and didn't understand him either! LOL
Actually pockets 7 would be the nuts
Pocker?
they could win a lot of money playing like that hahaha
i don't get the reference about mono and what ever he says after

LoL Castle is a Donk Player. Call a raise with 2 7 offsuit and get the luck full house on the flop.
What's a donk?
fits his character
@adrisgb Thats what I was thinking! And look what happened between them ;)
2:02
LOSER!
Castle vs Beckett ( Ryan & Espo & Captian can't win)
this is so cringe
