I didn't finish high school. I was lost and didn't know what to do with my life... Now I've read over 100 books. I've started my own business and am on the best life journey I have ever had. By the way... I'm living with my aunt who has stage 4 cancer and I'm her full-time carer (toughest thing I have ever done - especially sacrificing my income) but Tai has taught me to think about how to create a business income from home giving me an advantage of not going to an office to work... +tailopez thank you!

I feel smarter after this video. makes me want to pick up and read at 11:30pm. I know im smart and want to succeed but feel like i havent exercised my brain at all. I never graduated middle school nor High school. I am 29 years old and I will work extra hard to catch up and pass it on. I have a 1 year old daughter and want the best for her. I am also going to revive my dream to becoming a top tennis coach.

I wanted to find a full time job over the summer, but I stopped being persistent because I thought I was financially stable with my parents supporting me and I kept failing my interviews. Now I realized that having a job would have gained me experience and provide me with emergency income I needed in the future.

I just bought this book and about to read. I want to thank you Tai for making that ad that is on youtube. I was on the brink of suicide not too long ago. I created a business and after a year it became so hard for me to do alone. I was constantly reading up on how to get more customers, and searching in the wrong places. I saw the ad and started watching all of these videos. The first book I read was civilization and it's discontents. This will be my second book by the great minds of our universe. I want to deeply thank you for opening my mind up to these people, it quite honestly is the reason I am alive right now. I hope that gives a small meaning to you that you do help people in this world that were on the wrong track and gave them a hint to maybe change courses for the better.

The thing I regretted doing was persisting to play the piano. I started, at a young age, and became so frustrated at many times for not having a better understanding on music theory. I quit. The thought always crossing my mind to pick it up again at some point. Recently I went into a Guitar Center and went to the back where they had all their best pianos laid out on display to see and to try out. I got on, after not playing for 10 or so years, and something just clicked. I created something beautiful and my flow was amazing. I hadn't realized that an hour and a half had passed. When I had, I got up and left, tearing up a bit realizing how much joy I have always found in creating music. That day I searched craigslist until I found a piano. I bought one that day and went home to play and start re-learning old lessons. I have committed an hour a day to playing piano ever since then and I have always found it to be the best medicine to balance out with a busy work schedule from the business.

Question 1. I wanted to be a 600 lb squatter with a 5 minute mile. Just crazy shape. I stopped at 500 and 7 minutes.
Question 2. I think something that would benefit me or two things I guess is one: cut the booze out, and Two: have a set bedtime and wake up time. I think I would have more energy and be able to get a lot more done.
Review: I've started watching a few youtubers that I think can help better myself and my life, or give me ideas to try as I navigate. So far I've enjoyed most of your videos including this one. I gave up on being an Actor for a couple of years. Got back into it now, thanks to the 67 steps, I'm in an acting course it took persistence to get into, taking Dustin Hoffmans online acting course and extra-ing in movies in Belfast. To do more, I could take additional acting classes, or fly to America to be mentored by my favourite actor Skylar Astin. Anything could happen!
    Thank you so much Tai!!

Entrepreneurship is one thing that I have sort've fell off of because I quit persisting. The simple action I can take to create momentum is find my career path by taking as many tests and exploring as many organizations I can and figuring out where I wanna go with my career. I can apply for internships ( all of which I'm already doing.)
I really like your videos; many people I know may not; but I think for a guy like me; I need someone who can shoot new ideas at me so I can experiment with them and you do that for me. So, thanks Tai!

I wanted to do something involving modeling/fashion/creation and presentation, but I let it go every time an opportunity or idea comes in my mind because that's not the career path I'm in currently in. I don't execute the plans I have or sometimes its sad but, I don't even plan anything when the idea comes along because I inhibit myself. But I think your videos help me a lot. I am going to research fashion companies and their requirements for work, see where they are located, and contact them. I will be persistent because fashion is something I love. It is not what I'm doing in university right now, but its something I have wanted to do and have thought about for a while now, it won't stop in my head so I might as well try my heart out to be successful at it. Thank-you for your public speaking, YOU ARE GREAT AT IT. Keep the strength to continue pursuing it because you are changing lives of those who listen. Well 20% of those who listen at least as you said in your 80/20 rule in another video. But that still is something, all I can say is I want to strive to be the 20% who takes your advice to action. I will be getting into your 67 steps program once I get the money. So again thank-you and may God bless you.

Good videos! My reading list has evolved cause of these book a day videos. They keep me going. I totally get flack if I ever tell anyone about how I watch these videos..so I rarely comment but here goes nothing.
My biggest thing I gave up on;( 2 big things) I regret every day the choice to drop out of college, which was the beginning of my degree path. I regret giving up on riding and training horses. 15+ years of experience laying dormant. I had potential but I gave up and those regrets just eat at me. So rebuilding after such a loss is hard. And I have been doing so since that drop out and dead end jobs. Now, I'm basically the black sheep of my family with out a dregree or at least a diploma.

I withdrew from college before my senior year to pursue my Clothing Brand, WeDE (We Dream Everything). I had been persistent in the business until I unsuccessfully launched a summer line. I was so focused on looking legitimate that I lost a purpose for why I was designing clothing in the first place. I put the business on the back burner for 2 months after losing money on the venture. I woke up and fell asleep everyday thinking about it. I took a trip to the Rocky Mountains and realized what I had been missing all along (A purpose for the designs I used on my clothing). I jumped back into the business and started tweaking what the brand represented further than just a slogan. I'm now in the process of designing a new line of clothing for WeDE, aimed at motivating people to be persistent in their dreams. Like a wede (understand my brands spelling is different), a dream is like a wild plant growing where it is not wanted and in competition with cultivated plants. I now strive to represent this in my business. I was happy to hear you mention being persistent and tweaking your path to reach the good life. I want my customers and myself to have the good life. You have acquired Great insight Tai, thanks for sharing.

Tai, I just wanted to say that I love how you talk about the "spark"! Upon pursuing 2 different types of businesses today, I developed a momentum and spark. I want to get back to Film Acting & Print Modeling. I also miss producing music, and just was paid a $49 check by BMI, since an old song somehow reached the airwaves of Vietnam. Also, another good Bible quote is "Judge not lest ye be not judged." While a lot of people judge the pretty women with their "cold shoulders," I somehow find a way to make the connection, and make the most of it. I gladly worked on a local set on Wednesday. Looking forward to Monday. Good thing I work weekend promo gigs, and not a tie-down "job"!

Excellent insight about persistence. I've given up on some things in life. Most recently I started an etrade account and stopped investing after a bad trade. I'm doing the research now to acquire beneficial skills as an investor. Something I probably should've done before making my first trade. I'll start playing the market again soon when I develop good techniques to analyze companies and their stock performance. Picking up this book too btw. I'm in the 67 steps as well so I hope I'll soon be able to share some success stories as some of the other commentators have on this video as well.

that's great that you are getting back into trading with more care! I myself made the same mistake a while ago. Started with just $2000 about 2 years ago with penny stocking. Followed a couple of gurus like Tim Sykes and did learn a lot and constantly changed my strategy but one year into it I made a really bad trade and lost $800 on the spot. Later kind of just gave up on it because I was losing money. However just recently I put more money into the brokerage account to trade lager cap stocks and started focusing on a bigger dream of becoming an entrepreneur in the computer science world.

I really enjoy this video, and have subscribed because of it. A objective I've always had, since the age of twelve to complete was to in fact right a book. I have a very unique, gritty, but passionate, and heartwarming story that I simply call life. What inspired me to write this book was when I was twelve I remember being recommended the child called it book. I read it, loved it, and went on to read the rest of the series. And for once in my life it was book I could relate to. My story was very similar to the book, but I feel it has more depth as far a frequency of traumatic events. Besides the frequency I feel it had a larger spectrum of types of events. I felt the world deserve a book that stated never give up, because whatever is you are going through, you can make the best of it. A book that let people know, we are not alone, not even in our darkest hour. A beacon of hope, maybe even a guide for the lost. But I just simply kept writing stuff in my journal, until I was old enough to totally disregard my journal altogether. And I did, I did so without return.

Thank you for this recommendation Tai! I'm so glad I clicked on your ad. I have been learning how I should invest in real estate and learned the hard way how important the power of persuasion is. Many paths to success deal with talking to people. Communicating effectively is VITAL. I am picking up this book today. Keep on keeping on man!

Just finished reading this book! I literally couldn't put it down. I feel like Jerry really became the king of the industry. He had this edge where he worked a little harder and smarter than everybody else in tAwehe business. He really did live a fulfilling life it seems to me. Awesome book! Recommend it. +Tai Lopez Thanks for doing these! I can honestly say, since I have been watching your videos, I went, and I am not kidding, from reading 0 books to reading at least 1 book every 2 weeks. My goal is to read at least 1 book a week by end of this year.

If you felt good all the time, feeling good would become the new normal, read Sigmund Freud , Civilization and its discontents. Also, some of the greatest ideas come from the down side of life, if you are always feeling good you have no pain to push you, you have no grind. The grind is life.

I've been loving and wanting to do music since 11 years old. I wrote my first song at 11. I never had the support of the most important person in my life-my mother. She wanted me to be an accountant. So I had to do it on my own motivation. I stopped and started a lot of projects and momentum and I got nowhere but have a good foundation of knowledge and skill. I'm 42 now and still can't stop thinking of music-I still have the dream. These videos have given me courage and great principles to go ahead and live out my dream. Sometimes I feel like and old fool but I will get over it along with some accumulated fear. I would love some advice for a musician in my shoes. Thanks, Tai.

I agree with everything except, the positive thinking part...It's at the core to every success, although there are exceptions (of course). Simply enough, you must think to act upon a goal. If you're thought is NOT positive, you will most of the time fail. Call it Psychology or the Law of Attraction (I beleave in both).

Good inspiration and insight, one of the things that i recently gave up on and considering heavily on getting back on is my idea on creating a invention. I posted my idea on a website for inventors for feedback and didn't get what i was looking for. It is for the automobile industry and I feel it can help revolutionize it. I don't know where to start, so i left it alone. I always dreamed of being my own boss. only if i had the right people in front of me.

I would have to say drawing is something I gave up on simply out of laziness eventhough I enjoy it. I just figured it was a childhood phase. I wouldn't say I think about it everyday like that quote you mentioned had said.. but it does enter my mind quite often that I should get back into drawing.
Thanks for these videos Tai I hope you continue to post these. I think they really challenge ppl to better themselves.
Starting today, I'm going to pick up the pencil and begin drawing again

one dream I gave up on was being an airline pilot, I started a plan about 5 yrs ago to be a firefighter paramedic in order to pay for my flight school. 5 yrs later I'm a firefighter/emt but my main goal of bring a airline pilot was never accomplished. I still want to be a pilot but for fun, what I wish to accomplish now is to get a real estate business with branches across the United states.

Hey Tai love the videos man !! I was watching another one before this that was talking about how advertising keeps people stupid and these companies rich. You reaffirmed what I have been saying for years man. During this last week I looked at MSN's home page online. On the top stories there was not one mention of the congressional nuclear talks yet there was worthless information on trivial things i.e. food recipes or the cutest puppy sleeping. I'm tired of working the grind to make other companies rich while I get the minimal amount to be poor every two weeks and borrow money just to get groceries. I am extremely motivated to change my life and create something new for my family. I would love to have a meeting with you man to get some expert advice to change things around. Thanks for taking the time to read my piece. Take care thanks for the videos bro.

i actually can't remember. im 21 now and i feel like most of the things ive always wanted to do, im doing now. although i have major doubt at times if i can actually excel in these things which bring me alive.
    things like:
    - building my skills in reading and speaking, being able to express myself clearly to others.
    - knowledge and understanding, being able to constantly be mindful of my day to day surroundings i live in. to become more and more aware of the how we are and the things i see that are wrong. discovering the ways of how not to live my life.
-skating, freedom of being in the present in the moment. consistently skating everywhere i go and building my willingness to risk. my body movements are flowing and moving thoughtlessly.
    - drawing, translate what i see into my notebooks. expressing my vision to paper.
    - being physically active, actually using my body through movement - like bruce lee said "honestly expressing yourself".
    ---
the only one that im not doing is playing piano or violin, however, for the past couple of weeks ive been visualising playing the piano (sidenote: i feel that when i start university again, this will be the right time to slot this into my day task schedule). during christmas of 2015 i got given a piano so this goal is going to happen!
i unintentionally without concious thought, am doing all that i want. the problem, well, it feels like a problem is again, how i havent excelled in any of these activities.
one thing i want to mention is that i have been persistent in spending time everyday to stop and think about where my final destination is and which path i want to take. ive been working two jobs of 54 hour weeks during my university summer break for the past 1.5 month and all i've been thinking and working towards in my free time has been towards everything i now and ever wanted in life.
i dont ever comment much on youtube videos but this build up of these past six weeks, reading everyday, working hard hours and building my knowledge and listening and understanding about my failures have urged me to write these thoughts down.
right now, i wont focus on what something ive always wanted to do in life and try to kindle make magic. but i will focus all my energy on being persistent. continue to gaining more momentum that ive ever experienced in my life. as a end result, i hope that the loved ones in my life would have seen that i had that inner spark in my eyes that you mentioned and end up being a wise old crack that will tell countless stories of this life adventure of mine.
