I went to Ayurveda Threading Salon In the center of Corona, Queens, of New York City. There is a nice aesthetician there from Nepal, who was game to do nose waxing (inside and outside), blackhead and whitehead acne removal for us all to enjoy.
This shop isn't just a waxing salon. They do face threading, eyebrow coloring and shaping, make-up and more.
Getting older, I am getting more nose hairs growing. All these nose hairs gets annoying for breathing. I decided to ask Shelly to rip my hair out from the roots.
My aesthetician applied baby powder to my nose, then smeared the hot wax onto my nose. Once the wax cooled down, then she ripped it off.
For the inside of my nose, my aesthetician dipped the sticks in hot wax, then placed them inside my nostrils. Once they cooled down, she ripped them out. Did it hurt? Yes, but I can take it.
The nose squeezing to remove the blackheads and whiteheads was my favorite part of this nose treatment. She squeezed my nose in each direction to remove anything she could from the pores.

One thing I LOVE and find so relaxing is that Jason can talk and they don't respond and it's NOT awkward (like it would be in American or English culture). These workers are so hard working and they are that focused that they just get on with the job.
I don't like with English / American culture how were scared of the awkward silences. Whereas in this culture, you can just fully relax and not worry about making small talk.
Does anyone else get what I mean or am I crazy?

Sometimes small talks is good …sometimes it’s not…I think we should read customer demeanor to know if they are up or a conversation or would prefer the silence.I personally sometimes appreciate the small talks that doesn’t come off as prying or looking to get personal information then sometimes I want utter silence

We really don't need to wax our inner nose hairs. They are there to reduce debris etc from going far into your airways. Best to just trim any hairs that are visible bothersome.

Exactly!! Removing those nose hairs allows all the atmospheric muck to enter the lungs! Not a good idea.

They also prevent bacteria from entering your sinus and reaching your brain. The body grows hair exactly where it needs it.

Even though it's obvious why, it still blows my mind how much you get for 15 bucks in the US or Europe and countries like India or Taiwan. In the US they just do your nose...in India they do every hair and every hole for 15 bucks...and you get a massage...and a drink. Really just a random thought while watching the clip.

Nose hairs are there to catch particulates going into your respiratory system hence the buggers. Removing all hairs isn’t advisable

I always wanted to get my nose waxed because I'm tired of all the little hairs trickling the inside of my nose but I'm afraid a piece of wax might get stuck in there requiring a trip to the emergency room to extract it
