According to Thessalonians 4:16, 17, we will be caught up when Jesus comes in mid air. This is the secret coming of the LORD before the 7 year tribulation begins..
I believe that all the lessons the Lord has been training us, especially the underground/persecuted churches around the globe, are preparing us for our years in the great tribulations. If it turned out to be the Lord would spare us, that's great. I think it's better to be prepared, than to be caught off guard
