I was lucky enough to see Procol Harum in 1975 and hear them perform this amazing song. Totally agree with lots of others that like a vintage wine, Gary Brooker's voice matured and flowed with a full-bodied richness.

Hey! Yeah I know Ren so can't react to that one unfortunately. But I like what he does.

This doesn’t do the song justice. Nice as it is, his voice ain’t what it used to be…. Go back to when it all began.

Ugh. It finally made it to you. You might be the last person in the world to have seen this. It seems to never go away.

Haha, that's a fair response. I only did it becuase of the requests. Didn't realise it was so commonly reacted to. Still a great performance.

@@DaveWildheart Hey.... I completely understand. Yeah, this video has been coming up again recently. It like in its third cycle...it goes away for a few years, then seemingly the same viewers find a new batch of reactors to peddle it to. I can appreciate that Gary was in his 60's and still sounds pretty good, but for my money this performance still doesn't come close to the magic of the original studio recording. But as you stated... you've heard that one already- so you can appreciate the uniqueness and nuances of this alternate version. Most times they are pushing this on youtubers that have never heard the original which isn't fair to them. They're getting short changed. They should hear the studio version first, the same way we all did.

@@DaveWildheartI’m glad you did! Anyone who doesn’t want to watch a new reaction to it, can skip it. I’m 71, and love revisiting it every so often❤️
