Did you back the Nitro stage? Why or why not?
They should’ve been pumping out wcw figures for at least a year before putting up the stage. You just can’t have a wcw stage with little amount of wcw figures.
It was 700 bucks here in Canada.. plus shipping.. no fn' Thanks..
These prices are outrageous tbh. People have much higher priorities right now than paying that for toys.
It was too expensive, I just couldn’t do it. The whole live presentation and response to fans felt a little greedy at the end of the day.

Beautiful breakdown. They better revisit it with better wrestlers and a ring included and or ring gear like you said. More talent may come under contract in the future. Alex Wright Das Wunderkind would have gone great with Disco Inferno and the Harlem Heat. Sonny Ono and Ultimo Dragon. Mattel get WCW fans involved for this we'll get you and this Monday night war line righted and corrected. Dont give up fellow WCW fans. Sting may become available by the time this line ramps up. Stay tuned and wooooooooooo! The Nitro girls vs Alex Wright pack the craziness is endless. Talk to us Mattel. Either the price goes down or they load it up with the figures mentioned. Inflation or not no ring killed it mentally for a lot of fans even with the awesome stage. More figures, smoke (water) effects something more for the price or cost it less.
Too expensive and Not enough to entice fans
Awesome video, really well put together. Preach on, It's a WCW stage. They should've focused more on WCW talent that has yet to be released. Harlem Heat was high in my list. Glacier & Mortis were some good ones as well. Kronic, Scott Norton, and why not throw in the announcers set. I was really hopeful that each and every goal would be met. 🥺 this is the best set that mattel will ever make. The details on this thing are mind blowing
I'm late to this but you just popped up in my recommends and I wanted to say as much as I wanted this stage (I was a backer) I was completely hesitant because I knew the Monday Night Wars figures were Walmart exclusives. That means it's a complete gamble if I'll even find the figures for retail or pay overpriced eBay mark ups. I missed quite a few of the Ruthless Aggression figures since they either never hit my local Walmart area or were bought up before I even saw them.
I believe Mattel should have made the Rey in the Filthy Animals gear without the mask.

To be fair Mattel hasn't made that many WCW era Rey figures.

Stages are cool but I think I’d rather see them do things like an official scale Elimination Chamber or Hell in Cell maybe Money in the Bank.
