One of the things we've tried to do is a very serious attempt at trying to reduce the amount of chemicals going in the ponds for invasive species control - herbicides and what not. One of the benefits that we've seen is that we've had a dramatic increase in the amount of native plants recruiting in the ponds, sort of like you see behind me here. We've had two ponds that pretty much re-established completely wall-to-wall with native plant material just from stopping spraying chemicals.
