How many people even care about comp? Is it enough to consider that meta in these tier videos? I might be wrong, but from my perspective it seems like most people don’t give a shit about comp/pro, so why consider it in these videos if most your audience is more into ranked? I’m not trying to be an ass, just genuine questions.
You can apply comp concepts to ranked but you can't apply ranked concepts to comp

Because solo queuing shouldn’t be the norm in a team base game. So operators that are food at solo q (like zero) are useless when you take a broader look.
No harm in hearing about all use-case scenarios. I like hearing how my preferred Ops stack up in a more serious environment.

I've been enjoying Grim quite a bit recently, and while he's not a must-bring all the time, he's a solid Bee tier Operator. Comes in very useful in sting operations.

Don’t forget boys, we got Rainbow Six Extraction to hold us over (no one asked for the game and it literally stole resources from Siege for years)
That game was such an asset flip. I tried it on games pass and dropped it after an hour.

Honestly I really enjoyed the game. But honestly this should have been $19 - 9 DLC for r9 at best.

Biggest issue with extraction is it didn't lean into the whole you and your teammates need to work together or fail alone.
You are, in the most respectful way possible, BUGGING with the Zero placement. There is no way you can say with a straight face that Sens and Zero are at all equal in any department. That should be enough of a wake up call. Great video as usual Señor Gregor! Not mad at all! :)

These videos are so useless, like I haven't seen a player who plays with an operator based on tier lists. They are only good because you can cringe on them like I did when he put Zero to the almost bottom. You can just learn argus spots from more experienced content creators which will help you and the team lot. I have just noticed that Osa is also in C, so yeah change my mind.
Ubi pls give Jackal a can opener or something. He doesn't bring a lot to the table aside from helping with roam clears imo.
I do love gaming. The very fact that as an interactive medium that so many different stories and ideas can be expressed, and ideas within them further is great. Recently I have been playing alot of OpenMW with the Tamriel Rebuilt mods, and have been enjoying every second of my life as a failed politician working for a trade conglomerate. That being said, it is unfortunate that the modern "Games as a Service" model is hurting the industry more than it is benefiting from it. Its awesome that so many people are able to hang out and goof around as all kinds of different characters in games like Fortnite, but its equally as sad to see the state of games like Babylons Fall release and die in the span of months. Its sad that Ubi isnt communicating things better and hurting their playerbase, but at the same time its a miracle that they havent abandoned the game and just remade it like they are willing to do with so many of their other franchises, Tom Clancy ones included.
Man I really gotta reinstall Tamriel Rebuilt on my new laptop that shit was so gas but I had a hell of a time installing it. And my new PC has no disc drive so I'd have to rebuy Morrowind digitally
Ying is so much fun. She is so strong - good gun, good gadget(s) and 2 Speed.
Other than Ying I really enjoy Brava and Thermite.

Grim became my favorite attacker since his buffs. I've been devastated that he's losing his breaching charges because the ability to clear castles and large holes in walls and floors was awesome.
Love the video Gregor! If I can ask one thing, I can often listen to the videos but not physically watch them. If you could say the tier you are putting the op in when you describe why, I would be grateful.
I know you were told not to read comments, but could I ask a favor? I listen to your videos mostly while driving, do you think you could say which operator goes in which tier? I keep wanting to look at my phone which I shouldnt do while driving lol

I HEAVILY DISAGREE with his finka ranking. She at LEAST deserves one rank above. Healing your teammates by 60, reviving them anywhere, self revive, like you mentioned, her frags. Her secondary is god tier. Primary is ight. She’s just always a safe bet for solo que kinda like solis. Not even accounting for the myriad of small and large boosts to her teammates against stuns and barbed wire and ads speed.

I am a buck main and man do I love him he, as explained in the video, does literally anything you want If you play him right! he brings so much to the team I personally play him from vertical angles occasionally entry frag and he is probably the MOST BALANCED OP in siege I am salty his frags were taken away but that did balance him really well

I think Capitao is B, while he's usually a bit ass the sites where he makes a difference he's usually the only op for the job (grim can do his jobs but health is a tougher choice for defenders compared to a ping)
Ram deserves more credit, at the very least B tier. Really enjoying her right now, particularly because her kit allows you and team-mate to brute force you're way in and plant. You throw her gadget or two or even all three plus a smoke or both and rapidly plant, dip out and cover.
Well based on the definition of the tiers I think C is accurate. Ram only works well on vertical sites. Buck has the major advantage of Hard Breaches to also get hatches. Ram is the best potential character in C but is limited by the scope of her role. You can't really run her 3 straight attacks and get good use on that utility.
Either they did know it wasn't ready, and hoped it could be fixed in time. Or they didn't know, hence the last minute post.
Either way, someone dropped the ball.
Hopefully when it DOES drop, it won't wipe out the servers. Like usual.

Imo iq and mav should have impact emps. Also could see mav getting smokes so he could hide what hole he was making from defense

Mav emps kinda defeats the purpose of his gadget, Id rather they give him breaches or the bailiff or something so you dont have to use 5 mags of M4 to open the Mav tricked wall because your Buck died rushing the other side of the map
@@Ben-xe4euI think the focus is on team play, Ubi doesn't really want self reliant ops. Like he doesn't need EMP bc he can open the wall anyways or use the gadget to clear. Smokes would be more reasonable but I still think too strong, and the breaches or baliff would make him stupidly op, bandit and Kaid would be totally irrelevant.
Might be a hot take but sledge is like D tier without grenades and being a 1 speed now. Ash can do his job and have better weapons and 3 speed
And buck is faster with a better gun and ram can get more soft destruction done faster.

Iana is being slept on. Frag change hurts but at the end of the day you basically get a free recharging drone and a ton of mind-game potential. Her gun is also really good. Flashes aren't awful either since Ying is almost always going to get banned.

Look how they massacred my girl. I started to play in operation Phantom Sight and although I am mostly playing all operators Nokk was always my little main and she still is at heart. But everything I learned to do with her last 4 years was taken away from me.

Been saying it for years, Blackbeard's gadget, as designed, cannot work in Siege. It's either going to be too good, or absolute dogwater. Simply because, in a game where headshots matter this hard, having a way to interfere with the headshots is horrible design. A much better version of blackbeard would have had his shield be mounted on the bottom of the gun, and either be the OG launch durability or something similar. An OP who is, for all intents and purposes, a skill check for the opponent, not a "too bad you aren't allowed to headshot me"

I think ram is a top tier operator, she feels like she has really strong vertical game her gun is great with her 1.5 on the r4 and she got stuns which is nice I guess, she’s not massively useful if you can’t play vertical but I like her versatility with her gadget and the noise making is a really good distraction imo

I hate seeing all of my favorite attackers like Maverick and nokk fall off so hard over the years.
I think a semi-rework they could do for Dokkaebi counter-play is giving operators the ability to simply drop their phones, it would make it so that attack has the potential to snag it for cams while roamers can still move about without having their location given away by audio. However, I think dropping your phone early should make it so you can no longer access cams yourself in case you abandon ship and run away. It sounds silly and might be a pain to balance due to phone icons being a thing that shows up on corpses but I think it's very possible to implement this so that there is more counter-play than just having your nuts resting on a jammer.
You should look into your mic positioning, everytime that you slightly move towards or away from the mic your overall volume changes drastically

As a professional sens player I can say hes better then what everyone keeps saying so I would have put them one tier higher
Imo:
Buck and Thatcher should be S tier. Ash B. Ram A tier. Osa B tier. Flores B tier. Iana should be high B or A. Amaru D tier. Nøkk high D tier. Capitão B tier. Zero C tier. Maverick atleast B tier considering that he counters Tubarão. I'm not really sure about Finka but she has some other benefits than healing like for example against Fenrir. Zofia and Jackal should be C or B tier. Rest woul be same for me
I think Ram can do a better job than Sledge and Buck at vertical play, because she can do more than they and is a lot safer
Gaming is good. Gaming industry is bad. Devs want to make good games, suits want to make good money. It's just the bleak reality that money talks.
I can imagine ubisoft suits drooling over idea of making all ther IPs go mobile and profits skyrocketing. Unfortunately it's too hard to do, so they'll try to sink resources into next bs like gaming nfts or whatever.

And Osa. Obviously this is more high ranked/comp focused but idk man Osa destroys people in my games in emerald and grim is mid at BEST

I've noticed that the attacker tier list is skewed down compared to the defenders, why is that?
I understand it's your list, but there should be some specification about this video being based on competitive. I don't think I'm going pro anytime soon, I was more hoping to hear your take on the ops in the environment that 99.99% of our community will use. I don't understand the point of ranking competitive ops vs ranked ops. We'll see the good competitive ops in pro play, the ranked ops are more of what we want to know.
Another possible solution is side by side lists for ranked and competitive. (Or possibly just two videos)
if someone is watching pro league this list is a good prep for the invitational on what the teams are doing

Bro you gotta make these videos ranked based or maybe a side by side of ranked vs comp tier list. There are a few placements here that are bonkers to 99.999% of people. 99% of people are doing way better on a Zero, Osa, or Iana than they are on Grim. There's no way Sens and Zero can actually be in the same tier.

I really don’t get all the praise Dokkaebi’s been getting? Yeah she can call everyone on the map instantly but it’s just a few seconds sound cue that you can turn off.
It’s not that loud either, like you’re not gonna hear it across the hallway, and it’s not going to tell you exactly where they are. While Jackal has a pinpoint accurate ping, and a good player can just look at the footsteps to track a roamer down without them even knowing.
I think it's more so the fact that she has a lot of separate utility: sound cues to clear out roamers and rats, smokes, stuns or pocket emps, the ability to take the defenders intel for themselves, forces people to stay in place, denies intel and has an smg 12 if you can control the recoil, a cz75 if you can't.
