I had a second interview last week and they asked “a year from now if we were to give you an award, what would the award be for?” That one made me think lol
A question I struggle with that has come up in 2 different second round interviews is, "what are you going to miss the most and least about your current position" I find this hard to answer because I don't like speaking negatively about my current workplace. That does not seem like a good look.
When answering what you’ll miss the least you can just mention that you won’t miss the fact that you’re taking on a new opportunity, hence why you’re applying to this position.
Dear Career Contessa I just found out that I'm required to answer a skills test of sorts during the 2nd interview. The only clue is that I'll be given a question based on the information in the job listing, and the answer is to be given in a discussion afterwards. How can I prepare for this type of skills assessment?
@@davida6146 they were nothing like these questions, but luckily I'd prepared some answers with the career contessa worksheet so I was somewhat prepared. Didn't get the job sadly

I just finished my second interview via Zoom. The questions more technical but since a third person was added (in addition to the same 2 others I had met prior), some of the standard questions were asked like "Tell me about a time you failed/ what your weaknesses are" along with very specific questions to the role (which they later revealed they just wanted to see my critical thinking skills). Those are my two cents and hopefully it helps someone else. I'll find out end of next week.
Hi i just have my 2nd interview, but more to technical question, there is some code that i forget during the interview. But at the end of the interview. One of the interviewer said to me "would u be comfortable to do like an exercice , like coding exercise in which I want to see your coding & development skills" Before that at the end of interview I ask the HR when can i have the interview reukt or for the next step, the HR said that they are still interviewing other candidates. Is there a chance for me?
