this was extremely helpful. the tip of sticking tape on the side while dry fitting the alignment was the key to success. pretty much got mine on perfect after seeing this vid (after completely botching the first one without any instruction). thanks again!!!

Key is to get it done first time. Once you make a mistake and need to pull it off is when you'll get massive bubbles.
I'd like to see a video of a badly applied protector, reapplied, without bubbles.

the ultimate key to fix a corrupt SP is patience and quality of product used, for ex. tech armour SP for mini iPad, I removed it easily and completely after a dirty installation due to being in hurry, I reinstalled it after removing the complete sp then flipping it on its back, cleaned it with a dust removal stickers, cleaned the screen then installed it again, I don't have to mention that the surface where you do the process has to be cleaned, the tools you use, your hands and never underestimate the power of a good near and direct light source focused on the phone

I usually go to the bathroom to apply screen protectors. Turn on the shower in hell mode, make a lot of moisture inside, it will pull any dust which is floating around down to the floor. Clean the screen with the cloth, take off the the 1st layer upside down to avoid any remainable dust to stick on the adhesive side and then just put in on. Any remaining bubbles (if there was any) will came out with a bank card.
Voilá! Enjoy your bubble free screen. It worked for me everytime.

This is the best tutorial ever. I personally didn't have the kit, but just following the instruction and making sure the screen was free from dust a third grader could do it. I made sure my screen was clean. Then I placed the screen protector in place and taped it down on one side. Double check the phone screen for dust and then peeled side 1 and placed it down on scree. Checked it for bubbles using a credit card or a rewards card something like that and then peeled side 2 checked it for bubbles. That it BAM!! Good luck

I bought a zGear screen protector with a frame. Could not figure it out. Ended up taking it back. Currently have an old, film screen protector that is held in place along the sides with duct tape. I found some white duct tape which really gives it a classy look. I'm probably going to go with this set-up from now on.

And the 2 little pieces at the end there in case there's a piece of dust, very nice. I don't have this same kit but those 3 stickies shouldn't be that hard to make with regular scotch tape.

I bought six of these for my new HTC One M8. I followed the instructions to the "T". It worked perfectly, no bubbles and no dust. Absolutely perfect....except for one minor complaint.
For my HTC One M8, the screen protector is about 2mm too short, so there is a 1mm gap at the top and bottom. Same goes for the sides. Because I am using an awesome case, you don't see the gaps on the sides as they are covered, but the one at the top and bottom really bugs me. I realize they may have done this on purpose to make aligning the protector a little easier, but I really prefer protectors that fit perfectly. Because of this, I can only give this protector a 4/5. The application method is excellent, but the fit isn't all that great.

It totally worked!!! I didn`t even dried the foil, I let the small drops of water on the foil, and now I have no bubbles and the foil sticks very well.
Please make a video showing this cost saving method!
