A group of Nigeria police officers known as the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) have been terrorising the youths of Nigeria for the last few years, a lot of innocent youths have been shot, extorted and beating by this unit. Due to this, the youths in my country took to the street protest against the police and calling for an end to Sars.
Now the protesters are being shot at with life rounds, some arrested, tear gassed and basically terrorised.
This coming a few months after the whole world was in am uproar because Black lives matter, but now it seems that our lives don't matter in our own country.
