Thanks for the video, Just got my Super Timber 1.7m yesterday and so far i don't like the tires one doesn't seem to want to air up. I have ordered some different tires for it.
nice fix/tip....I'd patch that tire from the inside like an old inner tube...rough it up with some sandpaper, a dab of foam tack and a patch of hinge tape...😆...maybe ad a set of RC car foam inserts ? ...have a good one....or to heck woth it and get a set of Dave Brown foams. :-) ..
I am assembling a new Super Timber. Neither one of the tires will pump up. There is air coming out of the pump, but I meet resistance when I insert the needle. Just won't put air in the tires. Any thoughts?
Yes did the same on me. Just put the needle in different spots , try pumping the pump while you are adjusting the needle back and forth till the air starts filling the tire
@smokeymountainrctravisThompson Thank you, I will try that. In the meantime I just ordered a set of Dubro 4.5" Superlites. A solid foam tire that I think I will like better ayway. Users say much less bouncing on landings.

Did you confirm that the needle is screwed tightly into the pump and that the beads of the tire are firmly held in the rim?

Yeah I may patch it good idea for sure. I thought about putting foam tires on it. Lol

They are called bead locks. The reason the tire did that was because of the hole

Be sure that the pump needle is actually in the air chamber of the tire. If it’s in too shallow, air can’t get to where it needs to be.
I asume you water tested the tire beforehand. No ya didnt. Go figure. AAAAAAAAAAAA
