- This conversation happened on May 4 2017; it was the premiere episode of Scars and Guitars. This is the first time it has been available on UA-cam. Throughout the chat, David talks about his move to Texas and performing outlaw country music, he discusses his role in his ex-wife's band, Genitorturers and he shares his thoughts on his former bandmates.
Excellent interview! You hit every point needed, plus even brought up his underrated bass playing.
Dude I love this cats voice. I could listen to him talk for hours.
All I know is that David's time in Morbid Angel were groundbreaking to my young 14 year-old self.
Yep, same
Yeah, his vocals are great.
Nice! Glad David Vincent is doing well & living the life he wants. 👍🤘
Great job! I was fortunate to see David with Morbid Angel twice on the “Covenant” tour in 93/94 and twice on the “Domination” tour in 1995/1996 and got to hang out with him at all 4 of those shows and still have the pics of us together. David to me WAS Morbid Angel and they’ve not been the same since. His vocals were unmatched, you could always tell what he was saying but still had that guttural annunciation.
Love his new stuff with “Vltimas.”
Nice job I just subscribed!
Awsome appreciated mate!
I saw Morbid Angel open up for Sabbath around the same time. It was awesome as it was weird.
I only saw them once on the Domination show. They absolutely murdered.
Yes he definitely IS Morbid Angel. I only saw them once in 1990.
Pretty good interviewer ;-) Enjoyed your Morbid Angel Interviews
For someone who didn't have a lot of experience at the time, you conducted a really great interview. I really enjoyed it. I subbed and looking forward to more!
Very kind of you, much appreciated 🙏
Great intetview
From altars of madness to country

Handsome Man, and Charismatic. other member iclued Pete comando happy with Him.
Dave ,and Pete where the best combo,Erik Rutan is rad ,as well.
Why is he no longer in Morbid Angel?
Richard Brunel has been long gone for a while
I've heard a lot of mixed thinks about Evil D, but he seems really cool from this.
I remember Morbid playing at Trees in Dallas. And this was with Dave, and he made a comment between songs. He said something along the lines of, I know you guys are from Texas and probably can't read. It was probably a joke, but to say that and then move here.....
A guy from Florida said that lol?
@@matthewwilton7778 North Carolina.
You need way more subs.
Tell me about it. I don't think I can do more/ better on the content front. It's these damn algorithms that only bump up content after you've spent a fortune on advertising. That said, the people who listen/ watch, leave comments and also send me messages are very cool, so no complaints. Thx mate
Dave "I really don't like pop dance"
Illud Divium Insanus: "oh?"
It was trey's idea
@@khalez1471 Yeah, it pretty much was.
@@christopherrobin361 Has this been verified??? 😦 Is Trey really the one responsible for the ideas behind the infamous "I" album?
Trey’s work. Dave only did what he has to do.
Evil D is Billy Ray Cyrus' cousin
David *spills his heart out*

Do you man
Subbed 👍🫡
Old interview. Richard brunell passed away 5 years ago
The date of the interview is in the description.
And I mention the date of the interview in my he introduction too
You finally ask him about Trey and David says not much of anything and that wraps it up? Could’ve done better with that. Oh well. Didn’t learn anything new on the Trey subject? 🤷♂️ in fact, didn’t really learn much of anything throughout this whole entire interview. Could’ve been better. 🥴 🤷♂️
Thanks Harry. This chat was my first ever for the show. For such a pointed remark you must have a tonne of experience. Care to share your interviews? Or should you just acknowledge you’ve made a shithead remark and will do better next time?
