- One of the most intense games of the year with a lot on the line... The Crushers are sitting at the very bottom of the standings on the brink of elimination while the Phoenix recently dropped into the Wild Card spot. This game feels like a must-win for both teams to keep their playoff hopes alive. The loser of this game will fall to the bottom of the standings and possibly miss the playoffs.

My thoughts on this game:
- Drew Sappingfield continues to prove how much of a monster he has been this season. As a former badgers fan, I’m so glad to see him breaking out like this.
- Stewie is amazing on the mound and I love his energy. Glad he got his first ever hr, knew that if he made proper contact with those hacks of his that the ball had absolutely no chance of staying in.

I'm gonna do it again and I've been waiting for this game so I'm expecting something. Here are my predictions before I watch the game. Crushers survive on a limb and win by a narrow 6-8 and that Fireon will prove to be dominate out of all the rookies, Kaden proves to be the best captain. I'll give it a watch now.

Hello COMO Blitzball, How do you decide the seeding of two teams with the same record? Do you do a run differential? By runs scored/runs allowed? Do you use a Who-beat-who tactic? And what happened to the bat toss? Just curious.
I think it is based off head to head so since the Crushers beat the Phoenix, they’re above them in the standings when they have the same record
What ever happened to Reese. He was unhitable and correct me if I’m mistaken but didn’t he lead the badgers to a World Series. Don’t forget about the bomb squad either

man... rn the phoenix SUCKKKKKKKKK. Fireon has pitched terribly both games (I'm sure he's a decent enough guy and fair play to him) but it's really costing the Phoenix. They need a second arm and currently Fireon isn't it. Might be a write off season for them

Congrats to the crushers on their first win! No doubt that 4/5 players really contributed to a good win today. But I’m going to talk about the 1/5 that didn’t show up today. 2nd overall pick Jackson Kespohl. In 5 at bats he didn’t swing the bat a single time. Not once? Is he frozen. Does he know the rules of the game? Maybe he has just given up. And today we got to see his first real action in the field. And surprise surprise, burnt toast over at 3rd base. Rough start to the rookies career and that’s putting it lightly.
Bad take, while Kespohl hasn’t been great on the plate, he might be the pitcher of the future for the crushers. It hasn’t been a rough start and he’s been solid against COMO vets this year. He may need some development but he’s having a pretty solid rookie season
@@Trimarkovich if by pretty solid you mean has shown up to each game then I agree! He definitely has played! That’s about all I can say tho unfortunately. 0 hits all year and now at this point it looks like he’s just looking for walks. Even with 2 strikes he watches a ball right down the middle without a swing. Just not the player I would want on my team. In my pre draft rankings I predicted he would be a bust based on his lack of experience and skill. I graded him out with a .2/8 for hitting, 1.2/8 for fielding, and a measly 2.4/8 for pitching. Worst part about it? He won’t get much better because of his lack of work ethic. This is part of the character concerns I had about him as a prospect. In my opinion he is the biggest bust in North American sports history.

@@Trimarkovich I’m watching the jackson bustpohl that is a guaranteed out at the plate if the pitcher throws strikes. Simply a complete liability on offense and fielding which doesn’t make up for his sub par pitching.
I’m pretty sure he walked a couple of times, so why not take the bags if they’re givin them away for free (especially if You’re the Crushers), an a walk is jus as good as a single. ☝🏼😌

Adam has the most annoying personality. I know people like him. Things start going against him and you know he becomes a bad sport. Claiming they're leaning into his pitches to get hit... He seemed very triggered in that moment.
TEAM REVIEWS:
Crushers: An accidental home run wins the game. What a great win for these guys. One more win or a Phoenix loss give them a shocking playoff berth.
Phoenix: That's a heartbreaking loss. They need help to make the playoffs now (probably). They played hard, but it wasn't enough.
Touch them all Austin, but you'll never hit a bigger one than that...
