As an operations manager for over 30 years I’d say he’s absolutely right about they won’t care what you say until they know you care about them. Especially with these younger folks.

Him talking about relationships was a direct shot at EB's coaching style. You cant just talk to professionals any kind of way and expect them to perform and respect you.
He's not taking shots he's saying what he believes in. He isn't thinking about EB
Dude is professional, no one is taking shots at EB.. There is no one way to success.. EB has won MULTIPLE Superbowls with his form of communication..
I think he was talking to the RB room fr because he understands what they went thru but it came off as a shot fasho 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great interview, so far this coaching staff is filled with teachers. I think that’s been missing in Washington.
Agree, and also you have adaptable coaches. The last several years we have had these guys that had success in the 90's and haven't changed the game plan since, but the game is evolving. I have heard almost all of this new coaching staff mention adjusting to the pieces you have and seeing what worked in the past and doesn't anymore. I dont expect an undefeated season this coming year but there is no excuse for that defense last year being so bad. They had talent on that team so I have to pin that on washed coaching.

A lot of former head coaches on the staff. This should be interesting. The offense has some hidden gems as coaches and Dan is already a defensive guy so that’s a plus for the defense
