Hey sackboy, this is a type of fly called enderpearl fly
Basically you toggle fly and the client throws down an enderpearl which makes you fly SUPER FAST vertically AND horizontally

I just recently got the ability to play Ranked Skywars, and I’ve been using rushing strategies similar to yours. They work extremely well and I gotta thank you for that! Your the best!!

@lace Most of the maps are best to start out with scout. As you are falling from the spawn chamber, slash yourself with speed, then switch to Hotbar Slot 1 (the axe).
Break the closest chest, and hope for blocks, and get to mid as fast as you can. Collect as many mid chests as possible, and try to grab the anvil & enchantment table (not necessary). If anyone bothers you, hit them a couple of times and run away.
Mine the diamonds at your island, and by now you should have full diamond. Enchant it to get some prot (hopefully) and go bully some kids!
