I heard this sung at our Good Friday service this evening. It was very meaningful in the context of the diminishing light in the service of Darkness. I thank God for the fire that never dies away - our savior, Jesus - within our darkest nights. Beautiful recording.
I just came back from my church's Longest Night service for Advent. This year this song has special resonance because I found out last week one of my brothers was killed in a car wreck.
Je ne comprends pas les paroles mais les vibrations sont très fortes et vont toucher mon âme Merci infiniment c'est vraiment magnifique que le soleil arrive dans le cœur des hommes dans le monde entier.

In my darkest nights, in our darkest nights...God is at our side. I can´t say how...
Who in the world would downvote this? This is one of my favorite Taizé songs.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Praying for you a year on. God is with you still.
We all have our darkest nights sometimes but the Light never dies away though it may not shine.
Amen
