' The anatomy of a the brush" the top and bottom of the brush having different textures, is such a great tip. Thanks Shane ! ... Keep 'em coming !
You're welcome.
Amazing as always!
Thank you very much, Giorno.
This was super informative and satisfying to watch. Thank you! Amazing results!
Oh great, glad to hear it!
Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing it!
Thank you.
The end result is really good. I'll need to watch this video multiple times to fully understand how you do it (especially the hair). Thanks.
It takes nerves of steel...just to pencil a print out. I can't imagine what it would have been like to ink an original page. :|
Beautiful piece of work. I'm definitely impressed!
Thank you very much!
Super stuff.
Thank you, Ernest.
Great inks on a great drawing!
Mark Schultz probably has the most puzzling inking technique I ever saw. I love it, but it drives me crazy;) The Xenozoic tales books were printed in greyscale instead of pure b/w (maybe not all of them, I didn't check) which made it even more unique looking. There literally was no book that looked anything like it. Next time I treat myself to an evening of inking something just for the fun of it I'm gonna check my old brushes for "the right split" and try it out. I don't suspect to be very successful on the first try though...
Thank you, Jano.
awesome stuff! some of us need a link to that Schultz image though....
Thanks, Sean.
May I ask what "white-out" you used for the leg cover up? It seems to be pretty opaque but thin.
Thanks and great work. Learned alot
Yep, it's just Holbein Permanent White Gouache. Thank you!
Sorry if you mentioned this and I just missed it but was it smooth Bristol or a Bristol with some tooth to help bring out dry brush texture? Looks great!
It's all good. I'm using a rough Strathmore 500 series 3-ply bristol paper, I believe.
Beautiful work , let me suggest a more relaxing and lower volume music for videos like this, the BG tune distracts a little from the art.
It's hard to find PUBLIC DOMAIN music and I'm doing the best I can.
Maybe just lowering the volume a little bit, awesome work, congrats.
