I get my glass beads from Harbor Freight. 25lbs for $39 or 50lbs for $69. Only down side is it’s 80 grit but the price is excellent! I was using BB gun pellets but they tend to tarnish however it’s very cheap to use for weighting and use less material compared to glass beads. Depends on what I’m weighting if I use BB metal pellets or the glass beads and if it’s for a child or adult. I sew my own pouches for the weighting materials too. I waterproof/seal them with Heat n Bond liquid vinyl so no glass dust etc can escape. Much cheaper than stockings and less chance of the bag tearing open unexpectedly.
