Amazing how this old hymn brings back those memories of how faithful the Lord has been. My memory is one of 52 years ago sitting in the church pew next to my dad, legs too short to reach the floor, swinging my legs and singing at the top of my lungs. It's almost time ... we'll be heading home soon saints. 🤗

There can simply be no greater miracle than to know with John Newton the erstwhile slave trader that I who once was blind to the magnificence of God, Christ and His Holy Spirit have been enabled in the new birth to see the magnificence of what God did for me in Christ Jesus and receive a new heart and a new spirit from which to now live in Him and experience grace upon grace.
