The ZL1 is definitely hooking and booking. It looked like a tie between the Tesla and Camaro. It was right at the end of the straight before the turn.

Del passed the plaid exactly 10sec after the raced started. But the race was over 0.5sec before that. Del lost
Especially considering most Plaids easily run mid 9’s on the street, STOCK on street tires with street trim.

Hi there, since your shop seems the best in regards to the factory stock 1.7 after it’s ported by Kong X. What’s your opinion on the WEAPON-X: DIRECT PORT METH 1.7L LID SPACER [CAMARO CORVETTE CTS V, LT4]. I am thinking to either get the lid spacer or a aftermarket taller lid. You ever install one of these from Weapon X?
I think you should look at the new Kong lid that has ability to put inlets in for meth injection. You also will get the benefits of a better lid.

Extremely clear he overtook him and if he hooked it wouldn’t of been a question. Motors are electric toys for the ladies that shouldn’t be next to engines anyways.

Yes that’s obvious teslas run 6.0 in the 1/8 . At 6 seconds into the race Tesla was out in front . The race was 1/4 mile and was too close to call nobody at finish line so they said no body got paid . 10 seconds into run they were even

Considering you don’t even mention where the quarter ends I’d say the Tesla got it. Just lifting in a Tesla is like riding the brakes in a normal car. I’m no fan of the appliance cars but that race, I think it got it.

With all the multiple cars that were there after the finish line, one of em couldn't have backed up to, the finish line with one of the many cameras to get that? With the setup you guys have seems to me you wouldn't have simple flaws such as no one at finish line with cam... Crazy!

The tesla race was dumb the zl1 was on the inside of the turn so that’s how he caught up so fast
Zl1 is moving to pedal it that much and be right there at the 1/4 mile . No secret that plaids on street can consistently run 6.0 1/8 mile 9.3 ish 1/4 mile times . If you stop watch video or look at seconds in video . Looks like 9.8 seconds to 10.0 zl1 catches up . If plaid really did run a low 9 that pass the zl1 didn’t pass him until after 1/4 mile . Regardless some good racing !!
It’s a street race not the strip, 1/4 is sorta irrelevant here
They’re racing for money I’m sure they agreed to race to a certain point . Probably 1/4 mile . You don’t just race for money and not agree how far you’re racing to or where the finish line is ?
@@peterb4143 Only in the sense that the Plaid does 9.2s regardless of street or strip. Conditions have to be wet or really cold for the Plaid to do less than 9.2s given it's traction management and AWD. Either the Plaid was low on charge (like less than 25%), or not in dragstrip mode, or even worse, not in Plaid mode.

ZL1 passed the Plaid before the 1/4.
It took the zl1 about 10 second to get even with the plaid if you time it or look as video timer . Plaids do dragy times in the low 9’s on street to the 1/4 mile consistently . Just going off that zl1 started pulling away after the 1/4 mile. Just a guess . That zl1 is making some power to drive around a plaid like that after the pedaling 💪💪

Yes obviously zl1 is a faster car will run 8’s in 1/4 mile at track going off seeing how much he pedaled it and still came around . You said zl1 was ahead before the 1/4 mile . That means the plaid ran a 10 second 1/4 mile who knows tho . One thing for sure is the plaid won’t run it back after seeing what zL1 did
@john jones if you think you can look at the video timer and tell who won based on what they should et....you are sorely mistaken. You cannot eyeball a timing system. It is in no way accurate. And you are assuming the plaid didn't hit traction control from spinning as well. That happens with them at the track even. Watch Andrew on the tesla plaid channel. He has traction issues on a prepped track so.ewhst often. Truth is, with these morons forgetting street racing 101 to have someone watch the finish line, we will never know. I do know that camaro would have put the same gap the mustang got if it wasn't a pedal fest.
