So Long Viet Cong Band Protest

On September 24th, 2015, Twin Cities community members, including Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota, Vietnamese American Organizers, Pan-Asian Voices for Equity-MN, and Shades of Yellow, rallied a protest against the band, "Viet Cong" to demand the following: Stop making money off the Vietnamese community by:
1) Changing your band name NOW
2) Ending merchandise sales labeled Viet Cong
3) Posting a public letter:
Apologize
Educate fans
Stop your artistically irresponsible and ignorant behavior.
