Dementia greatly affects a person's memory over time. However, it can be possible to help compensate for memory difficulties, and to make the most of aspects of memory that are generally more resilient.
RECAPS is a set of practical strategies designed to support memory, and help people with dementia to stay involved in everyday tasks and activities for as long as possible.
This video provides an introduction to memory changes in dementia. The RECAPS strategies have been developed by a team of Dementia researchers from The University of Queensland.
