Oh my goodness! What a joy to visit with your sweet pets. That Cattleya color is breathtaking and wine delight is certainly just that! Hooray for success! Thanks for sharing the beauty!
I hope so too! The only way I would miss her completely is if she opens at the beginning of Thanksgiving week. The flowers would be dried up by the time I get back. Who knows. I guess I can have my plant sitter take pictures :)
WOW!!! It must be nice to have your babies home where you can enjoy them. Jessie Lee and Prime Child ..... all your orchids look so lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Your orchids are looking very healthy! The Wine Delight looks amazing and the Cattleya has the most beautiful color imaginable, and such huge flowers! Also very excited to see the seedlings, hope they grow strong fast!
Hi William your wine delight and Blc. Jessie Lee have beautiful colors. Just watching and listening to your voice makes me relaxed and keeps my mind off the typhoon which is making its first landfall in less than an hour.
@@MyGreenPets yes I am I have taken a few plants to my laundry area and the other plants i placed them on the floor of my growing area. Gee I'm more worried about my plants. I just saw the weather report typhoon goni is making a landfall as a super typhoon. It's like a category 5 in the US.
@@MyGreenPets thanks William, here in the Philippines we are used to typhoons but it's still scary and also because this one will pass where I live by tonight till Monday.
Hoping that all goes well 🙏 dont mean to butt in, but I have friends in that area and just wanted to send my best wishes and hopes that everyone will be safe... now, that includes you 🙏🌸
I GASPED when I heard those were Dowiana seedlings oh my goodness. Can't wait to see them in ..... 5 years. Good luck with them! Always keeping my fingers crossed.
@@MyGreenPets You will have to add a new floor to the Growtent if you get only a quarter of those seedlings through their first years😁😁😁 Too sad that Jessie Lee is currently not avaiable in Europe☹ (but we do have Remar's Brightest and Frances Fox is everywhere, so it's fair😜).

🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 Morning William, well the grow tent has proved its worth over and over. WINE DELIGHT what a delight. You must be over the moon to have so many flowers I know I would be. As for the Cattleya, what a beautiful colour, I am so jealous. 😊😊 Mind you I have never heard of a plant being “sexually frustrated”🤣🤣🤣🤣 Come on Lovely Elizabeth produce the goods for William !! Look forward to seeing how the baby Rex’s come along, maybe you could send one to me here in England when they are a bit bigger? Have a great Thanks Giving stay safe. We are going into, lockdown again as from Thursday, just for a month, that is plenty enough. Take care 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you Jackie, I couldn't be happier with how things are going. I will pass on the message to Lovely Elizabeth. I think she's got an impressive show planned for us. Coronavirus is the last thing on America's mind right now---our presidential election is sure to be the biggest shitshow yet. I can barely sleep.
I informed my hubby that I will be putting some cattleyas into the spare room, his reply was ‘you just don’t like space do you. My answer was ‘oh yes, just means more plants’ his reply was very quiet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey William, Your Cycnodes is really amazing!!! ---- and that Jessie Lee really does intensify in color. The best of luck with the dowianas. They are usually easy to raise but as full grown plants, they need to be dry at the roots when it is cool weather. Also they like high light and air movement. You've done well with Rex, so dowiana should be about the same.
Eggman thank you! I am hoping to get the dowianas to dry very quickly after watering. Even in the sphagnum I have them near the fan so they get lots of air. The delicate seedling leaves are drying out a bit but I think that's normal when they come out of the flask. As you said I'm going to treat them like rex, but drying even faster.
Thank you for sharing! Very exciting! Wine delight! I am still not good with those so I don’t want to expand my collection in that type though.... now, I just got 2 P. Schilleriana near blooming size.... if you want it as replacement JUST in case, let me know...
My Green Pets I think I am on that side also in general... I guess it is just FYI. In any case, having a supplier is not helping my collection to stay minimal...😆
I just got brave and I purchased one of these because I saw the picture and I love the blooms. I have not reported it it has beautiful leaves although I did drop off. Can you give me any information on how to care for this beauty I would love to be able to grow My 1st And have success
