    Before doing this meditation please make sure that you have taken time to practice the technique described in part 1.
    In this series of guided meditations, it is important to have the correct relationship to the instructions in the guided meditation. The meditative technique of focusing on the breath must be understood as simply a way to divert energy from the mind, and to bring consciousness deep into the unconscious aspects of your being. The technique is not something to add to your mind or self structure. Any technique is a "thorn to remove a thorn", so you must be willing to let it go once it has served its purpose. As you move closer to Samadhi there is less mind, less technique, and less self, until there is a cessation of all activities of the self structure. This cessation of self is Samadhi, and in that stillness the dawning of wisdom or prajna is possible. Prajna is wisdom of the truth of who and what you are. It is not the sort of wisdom you learn or store in the limited mind, but it is directly realized when the mind becomes a servant to the unfathomable source, or the heart of your being.

    I have caught glimpses of samadhi here and there only to have the ego pull me back into reactionary existence. It's okay. Just be still and observe. Listen and you will arrive. Hindrance becomes your teacher if observed. Thank you for sharing your journey.

    I've been practicing my meditation over these last few weeks and wow am I starting to see results. But now I finally understand how to observe my unconscious processes without trying to influence them. Before this I used to try and force every hindrance to go away. But no longer, I'm making progress. These guided sessions so far are really helping me. Thank you so much.

    Appreciation from the depth of being for this gift of focused meditation. The exclusion of music in the background and perfectly timed inclusion of "guidance’" provides the idea condition to focus mind inward. Perception is shifting. Being aware of the contents in mind without self condemnation or self inflation is without doubt the way to be the clear, beaming light in the world I am here to be. 🙌✨✌️

    Excellent explanation of the hindrances. I used to think that I wasn't meditating correctly because my mind gave me a lot of distractions. I now know that this is normal, and it's okay. Just come back to the breath or mantra.

      Yes- vedana, the sensory layer that is referred to in the teaching, is different than auditory and visual thoughts. The 5 skandhas have meanings that connect to inner experience and this differs from the common idea of thought. Regardless of language, it is important to be able to keep consciousness on vedana, prior to the triggering of auditory and visual thoughts. This is how we change the habit pattern of the mind to reside in the moment without egoic preference.

    Such beautiful, marvellous meditations! I did a lot of meditation so far but your ones are insane. They are really formed compact,you just mention the main important facts and there is no expanding of the sentences till pluto. I really love your meditations!!!, (as far as I can give a feedback, because I have only meditated to the first two ones so far.) Thank you for all your work. I am going to spend some money soon :D Keep going!! Ps. And I love your concept that you are not interested in money and that you take your time for the next movie. Why hurry, when the quality would be suffering? Your attitude is awesome :)

    @AwakenTheWorldFilm in what category of skandha would you place the convergence of nodes of knowledge into a higher order insight? In my experience of these moments, while some include auditory or visual thought, others appear as a congealing of bits of knowledge and sensations, which I have always classified as a thought, but maybe it's a perception? Interested to hear your take?

    • @AwakenTheWorldFilm
      @AwakenTheWorldFilm  6 років тому +4

      Great question. Vinnana (the 5th skandha) or what is sometimes referred to as consciousness is actually what could be called higher mind or higher wisdom. When consciousness is disentangled from lower mind, it is free to operate as non-physical, in the akashic realm which is a sort of cosmic mind. Part of insight practice is to forge a bridge between higher and lower mind, which is a subtle layer of self. In Samkhya it is the wisdom body, vijnanamayakosha. Note the "maya" in this term. This is still part of the self structure. This is not the same as annata that is realized with the cessation of the skandhas, or the realization of the emptiness of self.

    • @stephensynchronicity5631
      @stephensynchronicity5631 6 років тому +2

      AwakenTheWorldFilm Ah, thanks for that explanation! That makes sense regarding insight, as it seems to be a derivative of typical thoughts but itself a higher order function using those thoughts as substrate.
      And yes I am aware that anatta and sunyata are each two phenomenonally different realizations in and of themselves, thanks for qualifying that for folks who may have been pondering about that! I really appreciated the meditation, my practice had been in a plateau prior to watching, and the descriptions and reminders in this guided meditation initiated some lines of inquiry that have helped it to steadily deepen since. 🙏🕉☸

    you soon realize how hard it is to sit still on a chair eyes closed, and just breathe and listen to everything with no judgment. because of simply conditioning of the mind to constantly be stimulated. The mind is a monkey chitchatting all the time. We were brought up to believe that thinking is the way to solve our problems - believing that if you think harder, you will come up with a solution to solve your problem. Instead i think its the opposite. Do not do anything. Let the thoughts past and go- simply watch. Do not give energy into them,- relax and let nature take over- let your intuition take over

    Thank You for these videos. What would you call it when I can see in my mind's eye/3rd eye, Geometric golden(etc. colors) forming? I've also seen random people and places whom I don't know, while always observing without any expectations, attachment nor controlling. In self-hypnose I've seen some future visions, and past lives happenings, mostly traumatic, but also people and places from different countries and centuries. I've been able to feel what they felt. I have premonitory dreams sometimes, so I write them all up in my dream diary. I can also sleep while being aware of everything around me. Thank You for your time and response to those Geometric formations. Aho 🙏

    Letting everything be as it is. When I practice non-dual “stuff” I get completely PISSED OFF, depressed and feel futile and ennui. Or like breaking things. Pretty extreme feelings and miserable, utter emptiness. Not during the meditation but all day until I move on to another form of meditation or chanting or prayer eventually when I feel like I can’t go on. My preference is not suffering!! Which this brings me! 😂 is this my old wiring dying? I’m so depressed.
