Even though it's based off the book but doesn't completly to me this anime has a great storyline where you really get to see the emotions of the characters and it's very well put together as to keep you on your toes for who was next, I myself was surprised by the acts of betrayal because for those episodes you knew he was plotting but his character was so infectous you couldn't help feeling the way Albert felt at least a little.
Beautiful AMV! :) I think the song really fits the mood of Gankutsuou and I love how you paced your scenes to the slower melodic parts! It all comes together nicely.
Gankutsuou is one of the loosest remakes [I mean, Shar-pei puppy skin loose] of Monte Cristo I've ever seen but, still, it was nicely made and visually a stunner. This song really fits it. This is one o' the best amvs I've seen for the anime. Thanks for sharing this, it's a goody! :)

@Waifine I completely understand. It was very OOC but they were tryng to show how evil he was. However, it's kind of ironic >_> more than anything cuz they used the character and then created a whole messed up story. I was just plain like wtf by the end. But like lol idk. it was good dont get me wrong but because it was so different it was weird. And the opening song? worst opening song ever xD
