Marc, your lessons are approachable, easy to understand ❗ I love the color of your 🎸👍‼️ You have a G&L 🎸❓ If so, which feels better the G&L or Fender 🎸❓ I have been thinking about G&L but now G&L mainly makes guitars per order... and the music store where I live don't carry them
MY G&L is an older one (late 90's). It's US made and I ordered it direct from from the factory. I don't know if they are different these days. My G&L is better made than my Fenders (my main strat is a Mex, but I also have a USA '62 reissue from 2003). The build quality of the G&L is far superior. However, I prefer the sound of the Fenders. The G&L sounds great, it just doesn't sound as 'stratty'. The G&L has its own sound. The G&L pickups are great, yet they have their own sound. Very different from a Fender. I've been chasing the SRV type vintage strat tone, and the G&L doesn't do that. It has a much more modern sound. I've swapped the pickups for Seymour Duncan strat set, and they are good, but there's something of this guitar that still has a distinctive G&L sound. So, my G&L is better made than my Fenders, just with quite a different sound.
@Marc Guitar , thanks I'm looking at Fender 🇺🇲 professional 2 telecaster. Looking for something different than my 🇺🇲 strat. Then I noticed G&L , they have 🎸 made in Indonesia with the same hardware except the wood. I checked out the Fender telecaster in the store and it fits perfectly with me... ( the neck is perfect) but still interested in G&L for another 🎸
@@iamanovercomer3253 I would happily recommend G&L Guitars, Much more bang for your buck than Fender. I have one Custom Order from USA & three made in Indonesia and they are all great. Leo Fender himself said G&L were the best guitars he ever made.
