XSR700 Off Road!! - Insta360 Motorcycle

- UPDATE: I have recently made some changes to my export settings, so the next video should be a lot better quality!!
In this video, filmed on the Insta360 One R, we found an awesome little off road track in East Meon for a bit of trail riding fun.
I'm really starting to put this XSR through its paces, and you can definitely feel it struggling with its short suspension travel and small front wheel when you go over raised roots etc.! But hey, it's all fun, and soon I'll be adding a real dirt bike to my collection.

With those tires does the bike track back and forth or stay pretty solid.
On the larger rocky stuff it's a bit all over the place, but its handlable. On the tight gravel and dusty dried mud it actually holds a line really well 👍
looks so green, compare to Australia :-) Riding through a leafy tunnel.
On a different note, you can clearly see how the software struggles with images stabilization over the bumpy bits and the footage becomes really pixelated; reminds me of early day of GoPro Hero2
Haha it is nice and green! It's a terrible Bitrate in the faster bits on youtube, plus they also compress videos on channels with low subscribers! It looks a hell of a lot better on my pc. Definitely no where near the go pro 2. It's a shame it looks like that here 😞
@@ballamoto but looks OK were you guys stop and the camera doesn't bounce.... I think the camera needs some stabilization for off-road footage but that usually requires much futzing and tricky hardware.
Yes, but if you know how Bitrate works, you'll know its super easy for a still shot to look nice even at a low Bitrate 👍

I'm ready to buy this camera, then I see thiss video. Looks so pixelated... I guess gopro hero 8 image quality would look much better. But I definitely like the idea of a 360 camera
This is youtube screwing it up. Its not like that on the original file. I'm working on ways to improve the quality here. UA-cam also compresses videos more on channels with lower followers.

@@YvesLendl Haha well thanks! 😁 I'm working on "tricking" it into using the better codec, there's a few vids on it!
So comparing to gopro 8 is not a fair comparison, as this is 5.7k spread across 360 degrees, so it's a lot lower quality, but more in line with the gopro max. To compare with the gopro 8, I'd have to use the 4k mod which I haven't yet.
Unfortunately not tried it underwater yet, as I've only had it a week! 😂
