A quick film showing you the best way I have found to tie a sold bag to cast straight and long. Hope it helps and give it a try 🚀👊 #CarpFishing #LongRangeCarp #TerryEdmonds
Hey, nice video and good details. I have some questions for you if you can answer them 🍻: 1. Lead at the bottom of the bag and the rig attached outside ( so you can make like 100 bags but without the rig inside - advantage for changing the rig fast depending on the strategy - what's your opinion on this ? Not the a good solution for extreme casting... 2. How long (max) should a bag be ? We have so many bags on the market and very long ones that you can fill them up for a spod rod :) 3. What do you think about the conical bags ? Thank you, and following you from Spain 🍻💪
A like all my rigs inside the bag, the extra small Korda size are ideal. I don’t use conical bags as these cast over 200m I have tried but no increase in range
Nice video Terry, and Nice knowledge with the til. Have a question on the spooling tool i think you mentioned in previous video. The one you could and the spool and a grab for banksticks, what is it called? And if you know a place in the EU it would be a bonus😉 Thanks for sharing great advice on the distance front, much appriciated
@TerryEdmondsLRA I'm going to give smaller solids a try this year. 55x120. Now rules state 12inch tubing . Will this Make much difference i was thinking use a long bag rubber and tubing with that but count the rubber as part of the tubing setup?
@@TerryEdmondsUk appreciate the speedy reply. I'm going to opt for a 2.5oz lead and time the bags filled approx 3.5oz so probably be easyier for the average Joe like me to cast
Great video terry, I’m a fan of using munch baits myself aswell, love the cream seed but have yet to try it there new pellets range. Love a solid bag, have you tried the Gemini solid bags stems and if you have how well do you feel they cast out compared to the long tail rubbers.
What rods are you casting them with? I've been looking into some 13fters 3.5-3.75 either the harrsion Aviators or tx 7s as I will be using them for half Mackrells for my pike fishing too. Just a bit scared of a full blown cast smashing the tip off. Any advice you can give is much appreciated
It makes a lot of sense about the bag stem to stop the wobble on th Rd cast especially if ya chucking bags a good distance as well as accurately good interesting watch Tel 👍🏻
Weird world we live in - where we watch a grown up man licking a bag. 🤣 Absolutely great video though Terry! Keep up the good work! And enjoy doing it!
Surprised there's no torpedo shaped bags for range fishing!
@@thedrvn there is mate but what I show here casts way far enough for anybody tbh
@@TerryEdmondsUk Over thinking it! Ok thanks!
can i use small pva bag on 0.32 mm line with leadcore?
If not casting to far yes 👍

That will work don’t have the tubing to long though just adds drag, just enough to protect the fish maybe

@@Jay-qe3jz 3.5 lead I would advise mate you need that distribution of weight in the bottom 3rd 👊

Never tried the Gemini ones mate. Yeah the munch baits gear is very good
Great advice for longer range bags Terry, ta. What sort of depth would you expect that bag get to the bottom in one piece?
I will double bag over 14ft, especially summer
Just to put it out there, foxs slow melt pva is by far the best I’ve tested myself. I’m yet to find a pva that melts slower 👍

Looking for a shimano rod looking at casting to around 140 with a bag
Nice one buddy great little video
Cheers mate
Do you remember how many grams came out in total?

Weird isn’t the word mate happy new year ✌️
Hi Terry, great video mate. Which tail rubbers do you use?
These are the Korda bag stems mate. The tail makes a big difference
Great video very helpful 👍 👏 👌
Thank you 👍
Brilliant Video!
