I miss being a kid. The late summer nights, the bike rides, running in forests and playing in dirt. Watching disney channel in the morning, walking with my cousins and friends to the little gas station on the corner of our street to get snacks. Waking up on christmas excited that Santa came, easter egg hunts in my mom and dads house and backyard, using the tiny carts at macy’s thinking I was big adult, staying up late at night playing minecraft and mario kart with my friends. The sleepovers, the water fights, the trampoline, forts, and me and my friend mowing peoples lawns to get money. The party’s and holidays with family. I miss it all, everything is hard....nothing feels the same anymore like holidays for example. Family has moved away and some family I don’t talk to anymore. Friends have moved on & seeing everyone just grow up and get older. What I would do to just be a kid for 1 day again.....

BallIsLife25 I, kinda disagree, because growing up, I was always scared of everything and wishing I would grow up to be stronger. I also had lots of fake friends and well, depression at only ten years old because my father sometimes would just go out at midnight and come back smelling like wine and I would beg for a new family. The only people who really supported me was my online friends, my true real life friends, and my siblings. I know you saw this perspective but I just want to statemy opinion and my story.

I just miss growing up in my grandmas trailer with my cousins and playing and having fun. My grandma passes when I was 4 and I held her hand when she died. I miss having Easter and Thanksgiving with my granddaddy he has also passed. Today I saw my cousins after 4 or 5 years. I almost cried the memories just poured in. I grew up with the best people in the world and they have kids and I'm not a little baby as I used to. I just miss being a kid and having fun with both my mom and my dad . And now it's just me and my mom and my dad is married to a new woman I'm happy for him 🥺. So much trama as a kid and stuff made me forget all the good times but seeing my cousins again I just reamebered them and omg it was amazing being a kid running around and playing Legos with my older cousins. Watching them play video games. That's all I remember really. I forgot most due to ptsd. God I miss my old self
