About Kym Whitley:
These days, the majority of people know Kym Whitley either from her frequent appearances on Larry David’s groundbreaking HBO series “Curb Your Enthusiasm” or from “The Tom Joyner Morning Show.” But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Kym is actually a comedienne, actress, activist, author and - perhaps most importantly - a mother.
She got her start in the Shelley Garrett play “Beauty Shop,” which started in L.A. and wound up doing a national tour. Her TV career took off during the mid-to-late ‘90s. Kym has appeared in “Married with Children,” “Moesha,” “The Wayans Brothers Show,” “’Til Death,” “Meet The Browns,” “Animal Practice,” “Two Broke Girls,” “The Bay,” “Young & Hungry” and “Twenties” (among others). Sherri cut Dawn off while she was giving out her information. Kym chimed in and said NO you can't say something (sherri) but in true sherri fashion she continued to speak. 🙃
This episode was by far my favorite of them all. I am so glad that Chris did not edit any of the stuff out, this was everything. I absolutely love the who will drop by Kym's house. I absolutely STAN Dawnn Lewis. She is phenomenal and I have been a fan since A Different World. Her warm spirit exudes from the screen. I loved the realness of the industry talk from each of the four at the end. Bravo!!

I must say hats off to 2 Funny Mamas!!! This was one of the best episodes thus far! You should meet up more often at Whitley Manor as you indeed are better next to each other then apart. Also, keep Chris, Nate, and the rest of the Midcoast Media Team since you have this podcast already up and running well. It was great to see David and Dawn, bring them back asap as well as Miguel and Caroline. Honestly, it was very nostalgic and it warms the heart to see comradery, friendship, and family being that many of us in the world are limiting our time around our loved ones for their safety. The longer the podcast, the better. Also, seeing as how this podcast is proving successful: perhaps you can consider doing this even after the pandemic is over. Oh yeah, would love future guests to include Michael Colyar, Jo Koy, Sommore, Aries Spears, and any other great friends of the 2 Funny Mamas. Great Show and best of luck in the future!!!!
