@@Mistr_A So if I have light subs with temperatures that are 3x10c 5x11c 23x12c and 43x13c and I have a dark library of 20x10c, 20x11c, 20x12c, and 20x13c it could intelligently apply the darks with the same temperature to the light frames with the same temperature all automatically?
I like Astap but find it a bit daunting in parts can you show a video of extracting ha and o111 using an lExtremevusing a osc camera, I’m ok with just stacking
@@TheNarrowbandChannel yes mate you use them in different sessions ie multi sessions so you assign each of these to each session then you combine them all together or separately or both.
Can you take monochrome camera pictures without filters and transfer them to a software that restores the color of a nebula or galaxy or planet buying my first zwo camera and I can't decided whether to get a monochrome or a color
@@gregklugiewicz5037 Ah yes that makes more sense. 6:24 is the end of the video. Anyway do you have a mono camera? Hydrogen subs are the images taken with your mono camera using a Hydrogen filter.
Very good explanation 👌
simples to understand; great content! I'm considering an M1 Mac - is 16GB RAM adequate?
Should be. I was doing this on a i9 with 16gb of ram.
No mention of Astropixel Processor which does a much better stacking job than Pixinsight?
Can it stack frames with matching dark temperatures?
@@TheNarrowbandChannel it does that and more

Yes you absolutely can and ASTAP makes stacking them as easy as OSC. I have a good video on why you should try narrowband that you should watch.
Do you know how to drizzle stack using ASTAP?
Yes there is a setting for that in the stack tab
@@TheNarrowbandChannel Can you show how? I can’t quite figure it out.
You lost me ( a beginner) at 6:24 with some type of unknown file to load.
Actually it is at 2:23 sorry. Beginners do not know hydrogen sub lingo

Han is from the Netherlands. Common mistake.
This is good to know.
