I love the visual of flipping the books around to see which ones are unread. Good luck on whittling down your physical TBR!! You've got some good choices on your shelves.
YOU'RE BANNED 😂 You have so many books!! I just started collecting physical books on my TBR and this is a good reminder I should stop 💀 I live in a small apartment. So I really can't afford to do that space-wise. I have 6 physical TBR (+1 library loan atm... and two pre-order coming in June) so I guess I'll be on a no-buy ban with you EVEN THOUGH I wanted to go to Goodwill and checkout their selection 🥹 Bride was 🔥I loved it, and I'm honestly more excited for the sequel? The banter between the 2 characters that are being set up seems really up my alley.
Trust me it's out of hand! Every time I came home from just being out I would have another book 🤣🤣🤣 I can't wait to read it I have heard nothing but positive things from the book!
It’s the first video I’ve watched of yours but I really like how mixed your shelves are. You can clearly see you are into fantasy but you don’t only read stuff like Sanderson and Locke Lamora but also SJM. And you also have some classics :)
Thrift stores are always what get me. I, at this point, have "book months" and "no book months" and haven't bought a book since March... but June's coming up, and June is a book month, so my TBR will be exploding again shortly.
Just got back from hitting the Oro Valley Library Book Sale. (Only bought 4 books.) My total is at 2881; TBR is 2100. I am 74 and haven't really got started on developing a reasonable library. It took me 40 years to accumulate this. I am reading four right now (simo). If I last until I'm 80 I should have 500 more read. If I last until 100 then I'll have a reasonable shot at reading all of these. Have three more Will Durant histories to obtain (good reads all).
My husband and I of 50 years have read almost every day of that 50 years....I have had to get rid of so many books throughout the years because it would be insane to keep all the books. One of out thrift stores has paperbacks for 60 cents so I try to find books there also our library has books for sale. Joe and I have crossover books we like but not all the books are something we are interested in..... Beware of the years to come. Please start a Little Free Library. You would make people happy and have fun. We live in the woods so wouldn't work here.
Awe! ❤️ 50 years of reading and with your partner!? Truly inspirational! 🙏 We definitely have plans to build the free little library! Hopefully in the next few months! So keep your eyes peeled!
Turning every unread in my shelf would be so sad. I have very limited space and so I sell every book that is not 5 Star. So by that nature most of my books are unread 😂
Isn't the point of having a library is for them to be unread? At least that's why I have a library. I rarely keep books I've read. I think I have a box of read books that have been dwindled down from about 20 to five. Sorry, I couldn't watch/listen to the video due to the music playing at the same time. It's a me problem. I've put myself on a ban and ended up spending way more money on other hobbies. It was a massive backfire. 🤣 While you were flipping the books around though, which books excited you to read them soon?
🤣🤣🤣 I love this take about the library! Luckily it's just a temporary ban!! And I totally understand. I did make the music slightly louder in this video so that's on me! Books that got me excited, so many I go I want to read that one and that one, but I think I'm most excited to read The Shadow of the Gods! I just love that cover so much!
@@GrahamMatthewsReviews That's one of the things I enjoy about going through the books on my shelves is to spark that urgency of which books to read next. will The Shadow of the Gods be on a June tbr or will it be this weekend? It is a holiday weekend after all. LOL
You're going to hate yourself in the morning with this book ban! In five years you'll really regret yourself, owing to inflation. Put these on your computer by Title and Author. Now is the time to get those classics! When you go to the inevitable library book sales bring your computerized list. Now enjoy!
How.many books do you have on your Physical TBR? 🤔
I have 243 TBR🫣
@@MoonLightAmethyst_ 😱😱😱 You got me beat! 🤣 I'm just glad we are not alone!

That's a smart way to do it!! 🤔 I might have to do book months in the future!

Read "Earth Abides" by George Stewart. A crackling good read!
