    These two never watched a single snap of Bo Nix, go check his film and then maybe you will say something more meaningful.

    Nix is perfect for the Broncos, also if u thought Nix was fallin to the 2nd rnd u guys were not paying attention. Raiders, Rams and Seahawks were also interested

    They said he wasn't consistent and he has a cannon of an arm. Shows me they've never watched a single down of Oregon football. He is easily the most consistent QB in the draft, and his arm is average

      I'm pretty sure that Bo was in the top 2 of completion percentage in college football last year.

    48 touchdowns to 3 interceptions last year at Oregon for Nix. Most accurate passer in College football

    The Raiders were a literal threat to take Nix at 13 if the Broncos decided to trade down from 12

    This take is so bad, it has to be rage baiting. Penix to the Falcons is such a worse risk than Nix at 12.

    Imagine if every team just took the best available player instead of drafting for need. You end up with two two dufus's.

    Payton can take credit for Drew Brees because he is responsible for coaching him into what he became. Nobody in the NFL saw Drew Brees as a future HOF QB in 2006. In fact, Payton was the only guy in the league to offer Brees a contract in free agency. So who does she think should get credit for Brees? Drew Brees himself says that Payton molded him into a HOF QB...cripes do some research before you speak.

    Honestly, Payton wanted McCarthy and tried to get in front of the Vikings. He failed, and so had to make up a story about wanting to trick the Vikings into trading picks to move up to #10. He failed and went into disaster management in an attempt to protect Nix’s fragile ego.

    • @user-zr4km5ns8t
      @user-zr4km5ns8t Місяць тому +1

      Nonsense. If Payton had wanted McCarthy he could have easily beaten the measly compensation the Vikings gave up to move up. That theory has no weight to it at all. Payton made a point of saying more than once that he would not move up in the draft or even draft a first round QB at all unless he was the right one...which he defined as a guy he "falls in love with".
      I'm not a huge Bo Nix fan, but I have reasons for questioning the pick that are actually based on facts, not silly nonsense about Payton being so stupid that he wouldn't move up for JJ McCarthy because he couldn't beat the Vikings out for the opportunity. Minnesota traded picks 11, 129 & 157. That is worth 1322 points. Denver's pick at 12 plus their pick at 76 have a point value of 1410 points.
      Dunce.

    I"m laughing at this dude who thinks that 101 media geeks ranking a quarterback trumps the opinion of a coach who is ranked #20 on the all time wins list & will pass Tom Landry before he's done. If you're going to dispute the pick & call it a reach, do so with actual knowledge & facts, not "everybody else says x" so you're wrong. If we asked these guys what kind of offense Payton runs, would they know???
    No.

      Dave Helman covers the Cowboys for FOX. Before that he wrote for the Cowboys website, meaning his job was writing propaganda approved by Jerry Jones. Carmen Vitali also works for FOX. She's part of a breed of female sports writers who parlayed their looks into working for an NFL team (Tampa Bay) as a reporter & has made a career out of things like you're watching here. Neither of these two is what we once called journalists. They're sports media "content producers", which means that they don't have to know much, they just have to have entertainment appeal.
