Happy Birthday!! 🎂 So! As for alcohol, I’m sure you know by now that for most it is an acquired taste. Meaning you’ll need to get used to it. With liquor you get what you pay for in the low to mid price range. Cheap vodka tastes like hairspray, but will get you drunk. Beer is bitter, and you might like that! More hops= more bitter. IPA are VERY hoppy, a select breed of people enjoy those (more power to them but I can’t). Mixed drinks are what most people tend to go towards, to mask the rough tastes of the alcohol and bring out the desirable flavors. Diet Coke and Coconut Rum with 3 cherries 🍒 is my go to drink. You’ll find what you like. Oh and a alcohol to try is Rumplemintz, it is a peppermint schnapps and a shot of that is refreshing on its own. Many a time I’ve gone to a bowling alley and gotten a shot or two of that after a light lunch and had a great time. Oh and MAKE SURE TO EAT before drinking, as having an empty stomach is a recipe for disaster. That and try stick to one alcohol type a night. Finally, stay hydrated! A lot of a hangover is dehydration and as you age hangovers will last longer/be more impactful. I hope these tips help and again I pray that you have many, many more happy, loving, healthy, joyful, prosperous, and peaceful years of life to come!
