Yet another RGB USB Mic? Razer Seiren V3 Chroma Review

- Prawn here with my review (and more) of the Razer Seiren V3 Chroma. This is tiny little USB microphone with RGB lighting, Chroma compatibility, multi-function controls and more. In this video I'm showing you the various things of interest about this microphone, including setting it up and using it in various different ways.
It is plug and play, but if you use Razer's Synapse software then you can get more out of it with 96Khz sample rate, digital gain limiter and a stream mode, which opens up virtual audio channels for routing and recording audio.

Oh baby, I have been waiting for this. I have had my eye on this and the ROG Carnyx. What a great review, once again.😊
How do you get this mic to work on PS5? I just bought one but my PS5 won’t even detect it when I plug it in😩
please anyone tell me what kind of mic stand he is using for the razer mic because ive been looking for one so badly
Thanks.
Early hi provoked prawn can you review the arctic prime
Full RGB mics look pretty nice, but I wonder how distracting it would be over time?
Well you can adjust the brightness, set static colours or turn it off. So there are options
@@TheProvokedPrawnThat is true.
While we are at the topic of RGB mics: Have you had a look at the successor to the Logitech Yeti X, the Yeti GX?
I know that Logitech is difficult to work with for you at the moment, but I found your mic reviews to be the only reliable and comparable source on UA-cam.
(ontop of the in depth look ofc)
@@Waldherz I haven't sorry! Thanks for the kind words though
I hope you can review ROG Carnyx too! Im debating if Seiren or Carnyx
I will be
Hmm i'm really not a Razer Fan, as i dont like many designs, their prices and the crappy always online software olympics...
But the specs on the hardware side looks fairly good for a usb mic and it doesnt sound too bad either.
Also The stand is just a bad take, Mics like that shouldnt even come with one, they have to be on a arm.
Also the RGB is a little to much in yo face for my liking, but i like the status lighting.
Btw: you can and should get to the yellow area and into it, especially for voiceovers and co, so that your voice stands above everything,
you only need to make sure not to go into the red, coz then you might hit the 0 mark and clip/distort.
I'm using the Behringer TM1 on a PS1 ripoff arm with the UMC202HD Interface with 24bit and 192KHz and use Pedalboard 2 with V-Cable and Reaper Plugs to set it up properly, with limiter, compressor and co.
Or with OBS and co, which has Plugins already built in and supports externals like the reaperplugs, and that sounds just great. :)
Still i like to watch videos about new mics and co, so keep em coming. :)
As someone whose saving up for a mic, this RGB Mic does sound appealing, mainly because of the RGB, but mic-wise, there's always better options
But if you are the type to tease/piss audio-siasts (Audio enthusiasts shortened into one word ), this mic is the right buddy for you!
Razer mics were the end of my relationship with Razer. But at least it's not as bad as Logitech. IN MY OPINION.
why ?
Siren v3 vs hyperx quadcast s?
Will be doing that soon
hmm sound quality doesn't seem as good as even a cheap Blue Snowball iCE
Condenser microphones like this one in an untreated room are hard to recommend.
You just have to make sure its a quiet room and the mic is on an arm and right in front of your mouth,
so that you can set it up properly, then the missing treatment makes almost no difference, when the gain is fairly low and noise and echo is almost out of the question.
nonsense
Thanks for watching? Now I miss the brutton
😂
So its not just me who hears brutton xD
