Most laptops and phone chargers are suitable for all voltages, you only need a plug adaptor. Most of Europe uses 230V so don't try a US hairdryer etc. If you want to drive, petrol is sold by the Litre and is 3 or 4 times more expensive than in the US. Most cars are manual and you will have to say if you want an automatic.
Person from the UK here! Great video. I've added some additional and hopefully helpful points below! :D Anyone coming to the UK, have an amazing time! - Adapter plugs are often sold in supermarkets. You're also likely to find them at shops like WHSmith that are common in airports and larger train stations. Europe to UK are the most common. - If you call football 'soccer', we don't usually mind and we'll know what you mean obviously but be prepared for someone to correct you. - I can't remember the last time I tipped someone. Places to eat such as Wetherspoons or Nandos for example, use apps where you can order food straight to your table. I've never tipped there as the only service you get is a worker bringing your food. It's super rare to tip anywhere (unless you use something like UberEats or Deliveroo or are eating at a fancy restaurant). If you want to tip somewhere, then go for it. You may get declined or it may be received gratefully or you may even get a funny look ;) - You can refuse a cup of tea. Most of us love it yes but (speaking for myself), rarely drink it. I was raised to offer guests tea to be polite. When they decline I'm often happy as I won't have to put in the effort to make it. - Some older people greet with kisses but I never see the younger generations do it. I hate it. Don't kiss us, please. - Places that offer free refills will usually state it on the menu. (free refills, bottomless, unlimited, something like that). - We ALWAYS complain about the weather, if you start we'll likely just join you. - If you get stomped on by the King's guards, you'll likely end up online in a video where people will call you an idiot or probably worse. I, heard it said once: Hardly a United Kingdom. Prefer to call it Britain (used to be Great) No such thing as Northern Ireland either. The north of Ireland taken by force, dating back to at least the 13th century. Response to video only.
What the showed was the old banner of the arms sof the government of Northern Ireland, redundant since 1973. The only official flag for northern Ireland is the Union Jack.
7:10 completely accurate the Union Jack is only called the Union Jack when it is flown at sea when it is flown on land it is referred to as the Union flag
It’s the Union Flag, it’s supposed to only be called the Union Jack when it’s flown from the Jack Staff at the Bow of a ship. Oh and it’s not just the Scottish that can wear a kilt, it’s a Celtic tradition. This means anyone from Scotland, Ireland, most of Wales and Cornwall (yes there is a Cornish tartan)
"The further north you go, the better they are" (my Yorkshire born grandparents would say so you can assume they mean as north as there haha) From my experience, they're better on the coast but you'll get good and bad places where ever you go. Shout out to Eric's fish and chips near Hunstanton, best I've ever had!

Wrong. I was taught that soccer is the correct term as football means rugby.
In the UK, "football" typically refers to what Americans call soccer.
In some parts of the world it does but not generally in the UK
