Finishing out February with this remix that marks a very specific time in my life and will always hold an incredibly special place in my heart!
I connected with and loved the original version of this song since I first laid ears on it. I would listen to it and think to myself "I would love to remix this!" and I had all these ideas all mapped out. As luck would have it (which is ironic, if you knew me at all) within a few days I had my hands on the full official stems from Charlotte's label who hosted a remix competition for the single!
I didn't want to lose the tone and feeling of the original and also wanted to respect the soul and emotion of the original which is why I used elements of the original song but kept with what I had always envisioned I would do with it in my head. The version heard here is a unique and UA-cam exclusive mix.
