Another thing Bo1 had going for it. You didn't die stupidly quick all the time in core. You could actually take a couple hits,and have a chance to fight back still. Unlike with ghosts you die in 2 shots lol.
Another thing, I noticed this is the only COD game that actually has a balanced set of primary weapons. Every primary I picked up has worked out well for me.
black ops is my first cod and my favorite... i have so much fun with that game and the snipin is perfection... they need to make another game like this

I sold all my COD games but BO1. I've been playing BO1 a lot lately and it's true. They did some good work on the snipers in this one. I usually don't like sniping but a few days ago, I actually sat down and used the L96A1 and I had fun using it. It actually takes skill to shoot somebody down with them.
In Black Ops 1 the sniper rifles actually required the user to play smart and engage their targets from a longer range, not like MW3/BO2 where you can enter a gunfight with a sniper rifle at any range and come out on top. Black Ops only needed three things to be fixed: Ghost, Second Chance, and the hit detection system. After that there still would be some annoying things, like the Strela launcher and the sound engine, but it would have been a drastic improvement over what it is now.
Man, now I wish I still had Black Ops 1. I remember playing Black Ops 2 Champaign and playing in the flashback memory around Mason's time. I brung me back... Great story line though.

A good way to balance the snipers is to make snipers damage increase over range, make them weak at close range but the farther away the stronger they are. Like at close range they do maybe 60 damage but as you go longer they are one shot kills (only DSR and Ballista though)
the reason why thunder is loving all the older cod's is b/c all the good players & tryhards are gone so he has the chance to own people... if it was full of good players, he'd rage & take it out on the game
I never played bo1 but now I know for sure that I could still run around quickscoping people in bo1 just like bo2. Based on the way the mechanics that I see in the vid work, I think I would like it better if the cross hairs weren't in the middle as ling as you can tell where they are before you are fully zoomed in.
couldnt agree more.. i mean back in the day it was a lil harder to find quality games... but now there just really isnt an excuse to still be playing a game you dont enjoy sooo many great games out there for every type of gamer

I'm happy what they're doing with Ghost. It's going to make those "good" players like those Doom guy who got owned by Rambo. It makes it hard to spawn trap people because maybe a couple of explosions to wall head glitch spot. It can destroy that spot leaving that player defenseless. Killstreaks will be harder to get with the map constantly changing. They are trying to push the everyday player past their limits in skills & strategy.

More often than not, the sniper does get outplayed at close range, the few moments however when the sniper wins, everyone gets their panties in a bunch. If Thunder stopped and showed every time he beasted a sniper up close vs every time he gets outplayed close range by a sniper, we'd be watching him win gunfights all day.
Let's say flood is a streak where you choose a area and it floods that area, people will probably spam that one area on that giant map every time they get it
True to an extent but it would have been less a problem cause the other two guns were more OP then said guns. It would have put things at a slighter balanced level even though it still wouldn't have been.

The Famas and AUG are clones, Galil Commando and AK47 are clones, Enfield is literally a worse AK47 less range and 35 damage instead of 40

Thunder you do realize that with the default scope on black ops 1 snipers you actually scope in(ADS) faster in black ops then in BO2 and ghosts.
