For the past year I've been having nostalgia back when I used to play this game Geometry Dash. My childhood dream was to be the best player but I quit the game because everyone was telling me video games were bad for me and I felt bad about myself. Now I wish I could go back. This video is exactly what I have been going through. For a whole year. Idkwhy I am saying this, but this is a good video and it makes me realize I need to deal with my current problems and goals, and make new memories, rather than being sucked back into my past ones.

You really encapsulated how I feel about nostalgia, and it was so nice to hear these sentiments shared by someone else. Coincidentally, another one of your videos gave me nostalgia because you used a remixed Maplestory song, and Maplestory music always fills me with nostalgia and melancholy. Hey man, always was a sucker for nostalgia and a few years after moving out I would spent some minutes in my old room or looking through my old books and stuff when I visited my parents house. Gave me the same feelings you're describing. Two years ago my daughter was born and I moved back to the small town where I grew up, to be closer to the family. My daughter has reached the age where she's starting to play with my old toys, I'm reading her my old children's books and I'm watching her growing up in the same streets and parks I grew up in. It's the craziest feeling now because the nostalgia turned into reliving my entire childhood and the sad parts of nostalgia are minimised or just disappeared. I feel like I'm just having the best moments of my life right now. So anyways... fellow strangers on the internet...I wish everyone reading this a good one and keep the errors of you find some, I'm not a native speaker :)
Nostalgia gets me all the time. Like I would just be going through a day and I hear a sound or smell something and it just drops me back in a time when times were easier, when my best friend wasn’t several continents away, when I was so sure of who I am. I think it’s sad how as we grow older, we lose sight of that. So nostalgia helps me in that. Reminds me of who I am and what I’m capable of. And also that I’ve survived, and I’m still surviving and that is great news. For past Noria who had no idea she could live to see 33. Here’s to many more years.
