Just in case you want to talk about Vestaria Saga in another video; it's not a callback to old Fire Emblem, it IS old Fire Emblem, as Shozo Kaga, the original creator of Fire Emblem, is the one behind the whole project.
Lost Eidelons is alright also. Thanks for time stamping them with game name. Sometimes I forget the name and go back and this makes it way easier. A great video.
I loved Symphony of War. The squad-building is an awesome mechanic that sets it apart. However, I know some of my friends found it frustrating toward the end. With that in mind, I have two tips for anyone who grabs it: 1) Don't build your squads defensively. Trying to absorb/heal most incoming damage requires doing little or no damage yourself. It's better to reduce incoming damage by removing enemy units instead. Some missions also have rewards for moving fast, so building and playing offensively works best. I found one healer in a squad works well, and I only had a couple squads with any tanky units for special reasons (like a mage hero who does all the damage and just needs protected). 2) AoE is king. Units with area attacks (casters, dragons, and a couple of the warriors) are the best way to shatter enemy forces. Most single-target attacks don't do significantly more damage than AoE ones (there are a handful of exceptions like a certain rogue hero), certainly not enough to make up for hitting only one target. Bonus tip: pay close attention to the special equipment you find. Some of them enable special tactics or completely change how a squad functions. Though you'll probably just focus on the capacity-boosting gear for much of the game.
Great job as always my fav game in the set are Redemption Reapers (the ending tho), and by far the best tactic game i ever play is TROUBLESHOOTER: Abandoned Children, always happy to see game get its well deserve recognition (cant wait for the sequel).
Большое спасибо за то что уделяете внимание тактическим, пошаговым и ролевым играм. Всегда можно найти что то новое , интересное и даже то что пропустил раньше !
Look up Battle for Wesnoth. Game is free, available to multiple different computer operating systems, translated to over 50 languages, and has an assload (that's more than shitload) of content. Commercial games can't do all that.
@@JoelRPG As of 2024, Vanillaware Ltd. has 39 employees. The company is headquartered in Osaka, Japan, and is known for games such as Odin Sphere, Muramasa, Dragon's Crown, and 13 Sentinels. This is who made Unicorn Overlord. That is 100% a Small Studio so how are you defining "indie" then...?? They ARE an independent studio on top of only 39 employees. I am interested in your answer to this :)
@@JoelRPG yes they had a publisher via a contract so that means they are not self-funded ok but they are still an Independent studio and privately owned. No corporation, publisher or outside group does not own them. They can work with any publisher they want OR self-fund a game. So what I am understanding is that your only and sole criteria for if a game dev is "Indie" is self-funding as opposed to taking even a contract from a Publisher? Publishers who then also help with Marketing, Often Social Media, sending out keys etc etc which is very advantageous and beyond the means of "most" Independent studios. I mean there are some really BIG independent studios after all - like the Baldurs Gate crew for example. Would Larian then count for you as "Indie" despite their overall studio size because they are privately owned and self-fund? Is it then only because Vanillaware did not self-fund that you consider them to NOT be Independent - even though they are also privately owned company?? So I'm just curious here on your definition of what makes a studio "Independent" which is, after all, what "Indie" is short for.
Not convinced that the Warhammer game belongs here. It is obviously a spin-off from what is THE triple-A franchise for table-top sci-fi and fantasy wargames (here in the UK at least).
hoo xD how I love tactical RPGs (like final fantasy tactics). I'm just studying to create video games, I hope to fulfill that dream and catch your attention (when the time is right)
Thank you so much for this amazing video! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Is there a Steam game (paid) like Girls Frontline (2)? I like having a military style squad, non stealth, where I can grow the heroes and they all have 4 skills to use?
It's a fucking crime to the world that the Battle Brothers dropped the game to focus on that new game Menace that looks so fucking shit. They've could have kept on making content for Battle Brothers and made shittons of money.
Sorry to say that buy Fell Seal, Stolen Realms and Our Adventurer Guild are crap games, especially first one. Frist one is grindy and repetative game where you need to grind lvls for class combination even if all classes are already opened + you will never understand about enemy class or skills by their look. That make me angry every time I trying to beat game. Stolen Realms is so so game but Our Adventurer Guild is crap. Similar look for all heroes, small variation of skill and upgrades and...repetative. Troubleshooter is nice game but hard to remember what to do and how to level heroes after long pause. :)

good too know shozo kaga is still makeing new games there's enough classic fire emblem and tear ring saga fans too enjoy his work im one of them
The Mercenaries Saga is a must buy especially the last two ones.
Thanks for the shoutout! SoW2 is well underway!
I’m excited for it!
Mercenaries Saga series is a nice gem for indie SRPG on many consoles.
Lost Eidelons is alright also. Thanks for time stamping them with game name. Sometimes I forget the name and go back and this makes it way easier.

The game dont have strategy is just, push and use Valkyrs, the rest of enemys dont have real use. Valkyrs just destroy all the rest of entire game

TroubleShooters is a master class in my humble opinion just wish there was more randomization in world or maps or the ability to make campaigns.

Battle Brothers is an amazing game imho. Awesome dlc too.
