The second he opened the oven door to check on a pie he was baking it ignighted the gas. When i saw this scene, my heart immediately stopped. I felt a huge sense of dread and that memory came up instantly. It retriggered those memories and ptsd. I cried thinking about the last scene for a good week. I couldn't get it off my mind. And when they announced his return once again i find myself focused on him. I had actually stopped playing the game but kept it installed. I'm very greatful to see he survived. But being close to my own grandmother it still hurts. You can't save everyone. But I'll take what i can get. So thank you to the creators for granting this wish. The empty text box was really getting to me. I did turn to zayne for comfort. But maybe that's maybe why Caleb stopped himself from telling mc. I think they were not only childhood friends but rivals as well. We shall see.

That ending gave me the biggest jumpscare when I saw it the first time lol. I hated the writers for making me like Caleb and then just immediately offing him XD Of course, I, like many, can't help but wonder if all is not as it seems and we will see him again.

Would’ve been a great hook if this was the first chapter and have a temporary Caleb team for some fights. What a waste of a good design though, maybe something will happen and they’ll pull him out of npc jail.
