Crestone Needle and Crestone - Zen and the art of Skiing

The Sange de Cristo range holds some of my favorite ski descents with rarely another skier around. Crestone Needle's classic "easiest" route to the summit turns into an all time ski descent under the right snow conditions. A large upslope storm came in mid-March setting up the line on an average snow year. Crestones southwest couloir similarly held the goods as a result of this storm so once making the trek out we made the day a two-fer getting in two epic lines.
