Its good but i have a big gripe with how minimum Ki Adi Mundi's role is in these episodes especially given how little a role he plays in the entirety of The Clone War's series.
The moment where the effects fade down, and the music swells when the factory is destroyed is probably one of my favourite pieces of sound editing from Clone Wars.
@@Bennahr_Fett from or for? Because this came out a few years before The Old Republic launched. The Old Republic caped this idea from Clone Wars not the other way around.
I loved the first episode in this arc. Seeing the GAR mobilize and prepare to land, then having complications and whatnot. one of my fav episodes in the series.
I liked the fact that there was a distinction between Warrior and Drone Geonosians, because it really gives the impression that they’ve turned to this Total War doctrine in response to the invasion-arming everyone, even the workers, and sending them to fight.
Dave Filoni: It is rare we ever spend 4 episodes on an arc. Season 7: three arcs, four episodes each, literally 4 episodes for a bunch of clones fighting and sisters quarreling
Rebels is a much more corporate show. The difference here is that George Lucas himself was in control and there was a lot of creative freedom for the production team
@@zeroeffortmemes There was just as much design and detail put into Rebels, as TCW. The difference being Rebels had a much smaller budget; but what they done with it was still spectacular imo.
They were used in WWII and probably not considered a war crime back then, but I also think the Yanks used them in Vietnam and have probably been banned by the Geneva Convention now. I think the Jedi using them here, signifies their own fall from the light due to the war.
I liked this arc probably the most out of all the material in Clone Wars, the heavy casualties of the direct assault, the introduction of Barriss (and the Barriss/Ahsoka ship) ;), was also a nice touch... and honestly the less i say about those creepy fuckin worms the better =/
The first episode of this arc is one of my favorites of the series.
+supercococaleb I agree. I am very found of the hard landing that the troops makes, with very many casualties.
It's amazing when there landing.
First episode I ever watched and still one of my favorites
supercococaleb same here.
Its good but i have a big gripe with how minimum Ki Adi Mundi's role is in these episodes especially given how little a role he plays in the entirety of The Clone War's series.
Matthew Wood deserves more appreciation for all of his work.
Good thing those bugs can’t aim
Gets blown up
But those brain worm things
AAAHHG
To late 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
The moment where the effects fade down, and the music swells when the factory is destroyed is probably one of my favourite pieces of sound editing from Clone Wars.
I love such simple tricks for sounds. Like how Poggle is just someone blowing into a comb.
Dee Baker's voice work of the genosian queen reminds of his work as the gravemind in Halo.
He's great at doing those really grotesque voices, isn't he?
kaden overstreet What!?
Evacuate the ship. Engage all defenses. And get this man a reward
They didn't show the battle driod get forgotten in the storm! How dare they!
Droid 1 (Not OM5) "OM5, are you still there? OM5?!"
Poggle; *says something in Genonian*
Droid 1 (Not OM5)"Yes sir, right away sir!"
Droid 2 (OM5) "Don't.. leave.. me.."
Well, they are indeed forgotten
it's cool how jedi in the clone wars have clone armor
They reintroduced it from the old republic.
@@Bennahr_Fett from or for? Because this came out a few years before The Old Republic launched. The Old Republic caped this idea from Clone Wars not the other way around.
@@alexisborden3191 Before sense the old republic was written before both shows by George. The concepts were just never adapted yet.
Most of the ones we saw just had gauntlets. Simple enough.
Filoni wiithout hat?
One thing's for sure, he's pretty much like one of my grandfathers; always wearing a hat (most commonly a fedora).
TheWampam Does not compute!
What are you talking about? Its a part of his body...probably just a malfunctioning camera
Heresy!
Martin Gavirati Please!
One of my favorite arcs!
Micheal Bay is watching very closely on how they made those Animated Explosions. 😂
He'd be proud
KrypticElement have yea he would
+BHaDizzle Haha
It would make a nice change from all the flaming gasoline explosions
YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Love These Featurettes!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME!!!!!!
FORRRRRR THE REPUBLIC!!!!!!
I loved the first episode in this arc. Seeing the GAR mobilize and prepare to land, then having complications and whatnot. one of my fav episodes in the series.
I remember the first time I watched that episode and it felt like D-day in Star Wars
8:06 I thought that was Barris Offee speaking for a moment there
I love coming back to these videos because the passion of this team is insane. It’s contagious even
13:33 real footage of dee bradley baker carrying the whole series
The black shards from the explosions. I always thought those were very visually appealing.
3:27 and this soundclip was used in the movie battles mod of Jedi academy to create the most devastating taunt ever
I liked the fact that there was a distinction between Warrior and Drone Geonosians, because it really gives the impression that they’ve turned to this Total War doctrine in response to the invasion-arming everyone, even the workers, and sending them to fight.
What about the droid attack on the wookiees?
@Justin Oliver he’s right. it’s a system we cannot afford to lose
I can see Ki adi Mundi as an English explorer for some reasons or some jungle Hunter red coat
Now that you mention it, I agree. Don't know why, but he does have that adventurous vibe to him.
Yeah I can see him as a sort of 17th century sea captain, now you mention it.
Like a kinder version of that Van Pelt the hunter from the first Jumanji
Probably the way he dehumanizes the natives of the place he invades has something to do with it
3:05 THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU FEATURE HIM IN MORE STORYLINES, EPISODES AND BATTLES!!!
Oh man! I remember; "Landing at Point Rain." 👍
Been watching these featurettes back to back and it feels like I’m watching the cool kids club of Star Wars here.
Snips & Skyguy, sitting on a wall.
2:42…. NO COWBOY HAT?!?! Holy shit!!!
11:52: that was a powerful moment when I remember seeing it airing. Loved it!
Before the bombers flew in I was thinking leave the Republic alone!
I think this is the first time ive seen filoni without his hat
“[...] that the characters shook just a little bit”.
*Literally next scene*
Ahsoka shake off
Favorite arc
Indeed. It's even better than Siege of Mandalore.
Awesome Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season Two Video.
Well sound design seems like a cool job
i like how they're concerned when a jedi dies but not when a clone dies
See, Genonosian's aren't bad, the Republic just doen't understand their Penguin Mating calls....
Dave Filoni: It is rare we ever spend 4 episodes on an arc.
Season 7: three arcs, four episodes each, literally 4 episodes for a bunch of clones fighting and sisters quarreling
This was the first time they did a 4 episode arc in the series. From Season 4 onward, it's commonplace
Barriss Offee is a lot thinner in The Clone Wars than in the movies.
Maybe she lost some weight so the other Padawans don't make fun of her.
Fattiss Obbeese. LOL
Maybe it's just because we can make out her figure now?
Sexy ❤️
It's amazing to see how much work was put into each episode but in rebels you don't see that anymore :(
***** exactly
You idiot. Just as much work is put into Rebels.
Elliot Kouame do you even watch rebels? Lol idiot

Joey Johnson Dave without his hat is not canon.

the what, Dave Filoni with no hat???
But what about the droid attacks on the wookies

Go I will, good relations with the wookies I have
It's settled then. Master Yoda will lead the Wookiees in Kashyykk. May the Force be with us all.
"what about your mother?"
Isn’t using flame throwers against someone in war a war crime? No matter what species or side they are on
They were used in WWII and probably not considered a war crime back then, but I also think the Yanks used them in Vietnam and have probably been banned by the Geneva Convention now. I think the Jedi using them here, signifies their own fall from the light due to the war.
Those flamethrowers were brutal.
Best episodes of the clone wars in my opinion
WAIT SO UR TELLING ME THAT POGGLE IS 1.83M TALL???? Thanks I hate it
I can only imagine how much better the sequel trilogy would have been if Dave had been heading up Lucasfilm
It would have been better if Dave was the writer and that JJ was the director and that Jon favreau was the producer instead.
Yay my penguins are in a to show
Joel Aron is really cool
4:11 what was that effect on that voice
Is it possible that the Zombie Clones execute Order 66? Because of them says they know how to stop a Jedi.

Yeah it was amazing
too bad barris was a dirty traitor that framed ashoka for murder
+DREW P. JOHNSON & EA is gonna use Barriss for their upcomimg Jedi Fallen Order.
@@conradojavier7547 Uh.................I wish....
Isn't this arc a 5 episode arc technically, because of the episode where padme learns that the droid factory has been rebuilt???
Agreed

Landing At Point Rain is a tremendous episode, it feels much more like a battle of Geonosis, than what Lucas gave us in AOTC.
so dday
