ah man - I'm a new fan! I found your channel this morning and it's gold. Not only do you explain things perfectly without spending too much time on the 'easy' stuff. You give fantastic examples of how to play it in other/any key. Thank you!
These are brilliant! Going through the tips again and will continue to, until I get the ‘habit’. As a new ukulele player, these are priceless and really up the enjoyment level. Thank you SO much for taking the time. 👏👏
Thank you so much for these tutorials. I've been playing for a while and I would hear all these things that you're doing but no one ever showed how to do them. So I appreciate your teaching very much. Have a great day
Thank you so much. I play in uke groups where everyone does the same thing and it's nice to add embellishments. Please keep these coming.. I have always love the Uke Group of Great Britain and wish I could add embellishments like them! I have been learning scales and trying to make sense of knowing when and where to use them. Thank you.
Thank you!.. Been playing that little run constantly.. Only been playing uke about 6 weeks but I am really addicted and picking it up pretty well.. And a special thank you for that hint on the G to em chord... wow.. that made my day and opened up a bunch of new songs for me!!!
Thank you again Phil. I’ve just been looking at ‘Shimmy like sister Kate’, this trick is going straight in there - if I can recover from the Cdim in the previous bar!
That was a good one. It goes straight into my version of "Hot Tamales - they're red hot". Would you consider adding the chord sequence to the text under the video? I had to rewind twice to make out what you was doing. Just a suggestion.
Fantastic Phil, I’ve been dying to know this little step fro C to A7. Really appreciate your fab explanation👍
So many ukulele players on UA-cam but you stand out quite a bit with the way you play and the clear way you teach.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Brillo Thanks,,,

I knew the C to A7 run but it never occurred to me to do it under a barre - thanks!
Oh, I see what's happening. You are stringing together secondary dominants! A7 D7 G7 C. Very cool, love this lesson.
Thanks Phil. Adds spice. Thanks also for sending your book. Keep well,
I enjoy all of your lessons Phil. Thanks for sharing.

Phil, can you make a video on calypso and island strum differance?
Muy Cool!
And now...to drive my husband cracra :)
That was a good one. It goes straight into my version of "Hot Tamales - they're red hot".

Yes, I use it in Hot Tamales too! I'll add the text in the description.
I can never get my fill of ukulele tips from Phil
Tu
👍❤️🙏
Ok
Can't go from C7 to A7 without my right hand holding the uke... 😢😢
If you play it with your right hand thumb as I do in the video, you can support the uke with your fingers whilst you make the transition.
So many tips, so little time. Lol
Bar chord. ya lost me.
It works without the barre chord, that's just a variation.
This is fantastic thank you 🙏
